Excellent service, clean, comfortable, and the staff is the best. I loved my nurses and Martita; I wish I could take them with me. The advisors were very understanding and organized. The food is delicious. The entire recovery center is a 20/10. I'll be back soon, God willing.

The nurses are sweet, but I wouldn’t recommend this place if you prioritize safety. The results were subpar at best. The doctor made a mistake during surgery and hit a vessel in my neck. Ever since my procedure, I have also had nerve damage in my arm where my arm goes numb everyday. The sanitation and safety practices are very questionable in the aftercare center as well. They toss blood in sinks you use for tooth brushing and such. Drops of blood will get all over the place from different patients while they do massages and it’s not thoroughly cleaned. I did see some better results from other girl’s surgeons, but the overall risk to reward doesn’t seem worthwhile. The chef was fantastic and everyone was nice overall, but the health risks and quality of results made this dangerous. Others observed this as well, but I think it’s tough to write a harsh review after spending time there and bonding. Being completely transparent, I was happy to have gotten home alive.

I had the worst first plastic surgery experience with doctor montes and bals plastic surgery before i got to colombia i was quoted for a lipo + bbl after I sent my pictures. When i got there the doctor said i’m not a candidate he could only perform a tummy tuck mind you i did my research for over a year spoke to many doctors did many videocamera consultations and not one doctor quoted me for a tummy tuck except dr montes. After thinking,being encouraged by them and promise the results that I wanted i decided to do it. I specifically asked for bigger glutes but when I woke up for some reason my glutes looked the exact same! My back fat was still there as well. when I went to see him a few days after surgery i explained my concerns and he rudely said if you want to get rid of ur back fat you’ll have to cut them up. I’m 3 months post op and I look the exact same I’m extremely unhappy with the results I’ve spent more than 15k CAD in this surgery and plus. After getting home I spoke to so many other doctors and they all said i never needed a tummy tuck now i look the same and i have a horrible scar. Nobody from his office or BALS surgery ever checked up on me since i got back home. I had very high expectations from this doctor due to the good pictures but at the end it’s all a facade. The nurses at bals tho absolutely nothing bad to say about them they’re the sweetest girls i’ve ever met . Other than that please save your money and go to another doctor Colombia has many!
