Ivan Santos Plastic Surgery

My experience with Dr. Ivan has been amazing! I can honestly say he’s one of the best plastic surgeons in Colombia. You can be sure you’ll get your money’s worth! He is extremely knowledgeable and will exceed your expectations!

I can honestly say Dr. Ivan Santos is the best plastic surgeon in Colombia. I had a tummy tuck, lipo on my back, arms and thighs. Additionally, I had my 10 year old silicone breast implants removed and a lift. I could not he happier with my results!! I am 47 year old mother of three. Although I work out hard at the gym 5 times a week, I couldn't loose my waistline fat or tummy pouch. and my body looks better than ever, even when I was 25 years old and weight 115lbs of solid muscle. He shaped my waistline, toned my thighs, arms, and of course my back. He used some of the extra body fat to even out my buns (which had a dent on one side). My breasts look amazing too, round and perky with plenty of volume. Yes, Dr. Santos is very professional and honest. When I consulted with him I wanted to get all the work done on the same day, after all I had 4 weeks scheduled to stay in Colombia for post-opt recovery. He was honest with me and told me it would be too many hours of surgery, which would increase my risks. I decided to do my tummy tuck first and wait 21 days later to do my breast surgery. This meant I had to extend my stay in Colombia by another 10 days for that recovery. I'm so glad he suggested I split the surgeries into two scheduled operations. Recovery from the tummy tuck was extremely difficult (specially since I come from the sea level and breathing at Colombia's 9,500 feet above sea level proved challenging) and I could not imagine having to deal with breast surgery recovery at the same time. My operation was in a brand new state of the art hospital called Loscobos, where I spent one night. Not only was Dr. Santos amazing but his staff was too. I received 20 daily post operation therapy's to help remove fluid from the body. The nurses there are very good at what they do and super friendly. I had a personal home nurse assigned to me the first few days (actually I kept her for 2 weeks) after surgery, Karley, is the sweetest and friendliest nurse ever. I could not have asked for a better more tentative person to take care of me. If you are thinking about any type of body plastic surgery, I highly recommend Dr. Ivan Santos, he is simply the very best and you will be very happy with your results.

My surgery was in January 2021, removal of BP from my buttocks, and I 100% recommend it. I'm so happy; it was the best decision, and I was in the hands of a surgeon with the best technique for BP removal! In my case, the doctor successfully removed BP from my sacrum and buttocks. He performed a reconstruction, and despite everything that was removed, I was left with good volume in my buttocks, more natural and proportionate to my body. The doctor explained that it's a palliative surgery; total removal isn't possible. What it does achieve is a significant improvement in symptoms and quality of life, and I can attest to that because the improvement was immediate. That's why I'm so grateful to Dr. Ivan Santos and his team. 🙏

I chose Dr. Iván Santos mainly because he had operated on a famous model Jessica Cediel, but unfortunately his technique was not the right one for me. He used an intergluteal approach, and I was left with remaining biopolymer residues. His attitude was not pleasant, and the reception staff was also not friendly. The only people who were truly kind and empathetic were the nurses. I believe that with an open technique he could have removed the remaining material, which would have saved me time and money. I later had a second surgery with an excellent doctor in Cali, who performed the open technique — even though I originally wanted to avoid the long scar that Dr. Santos did not do. The doctor in Cali removed all the residues, corrected everything, and reconstructed the area beautifully. Unfortunately, Dr. Santos left me deformed. I do not recommend him based on my experience. He even operated Jessica Cecile like 4 times! Is other doctors that can do in one surgery a great removal and reconstruction at the same time.
