My daughter had surgery here yesterday, and literally everyone we interacted with from checking in at the front desk to being discharged were amazing people. The nurses my daughter had were Margaret in pre-op and Sandra in post-op, and they are great nurses.

The woman at the front desk was extremely rude with no understanding of people's financial situations. I was told prior to my surgery by their billing office I wasn't going to have to pay a large portion of my surgery payment up front that they take payments after surgery and not to worry about that and good luck with surgery. 2 weeks later the day of surgery it's a totally different story by what the front desk woman says. She demanded half of the surgery cost or my surgery would be canceled. I already had 2 months off of work setup. Physical therapy was already set up. I proceeded to tell her what their billing office told me and she said it wasn't true that if I didn't pay at least half the surgery would be canceled. I then had to ask someone for help in my family so that I could get surgery that day. Then she proceeds to tell me the rest of the portion that's left has to be paid in 2 months. I've since talked to they're billing office and that's a flat out lie!!!!!!!!! BULLYING PATIENTS FOR MONEY IS NOT OKAY! My surgeon and his team were amazing. I will refuse to have surgery here ever again if I ever have to. It's ridiculous and honestly embarrassing for how I was treated. Never again.

As I was being prepared for my Endoscopy procedure, The ie surgeon informed me that he was not intending to proceed with the ultrasound that my specialist ordered and sent me to this office for. Rather he would look with a camera. I was visibly surprised and questioned his decision. He says "I'll go further down if i need to." I had already been billed 1,000+ after my insurance. So I ask the nurse for the cost of said new procedure. She came back and said "The desk says it will be the same price". Fast forward, after procedure my mouth was torn and sore for a month It took 3 DAYS to recover from the anesthesia enough to drive. It is scaring what they did to me while I was unconscious. Worst post-op care I’ve ever experienced. The ENT office ignored my VA referral from Wichita VA Hospital, incorrectly set my pharmacy to McConnell AFB (where I can’t even access), and refused to include essential supplies like gauze, tape, saline, and Afrin-like spray for bleeding control. After surgery, I was left scrambling for supplies while still disoriented from anesthesia. Surgicare of Wichita’s check-in process was a mess—one staff member handling a long line, discussing private medical and billing issues openly, violating HIPAA. Forms were incomplete, which felt unethical. Pre-op staff was great, but post-op was awful. A blonde nurse in recovery rushed me out despite my coughing up blood and disorientation, prioritizing their schedule over my well-being. They provided no supplies and gave unclear discharge instructions while I was still under fentanyl’s effects, weak from fasting, and struggling to breathe. The ENT office argued with my wife about the pharmacy mix-up and refused to coordinate with the VA for supplies, despite my veteran benefits. The anesthesiologist’s team was unprofessional—moving me roughly, dismissing my questions about medications, and ignoring my complaints of severe burning at the IV site during anesthesia administration. The pre-op anesthesiologist was excellent, but overall, this experience was rushed, disorganized, and lacked basic compassion. I earned better care through my military service, yet I was treated like a burden. Avoid this facility.
