Cypress Surgery Center

I had a procedure done here and couldn’t help but leave a review. The two front desk ladies were super sweet (can’t remember the name of the lady who greeted me but Gladys checked me in. Both were super sweet.) Jamee, Michelle, Ann M, Maddie(Anesthesiologist), were all very kind and supportive! That means a lot, I wasn’t excited to be there but they made it comfortable. I was also impressed on how they treated each other. You could tell they were a team and willing to lend one another a hand! Dr. Hentzen was very kind and helped me feel comfortable!

Hi everyone I'm just reaching out to let everybody know that (Cypress surgery center) is the most amazing organization here in Wichita for surgery, And possibly the best here in Kansas. The staff from checking to discharge where amazing, checking and I was nervous is ever I can ever be they help that situation. The bedside manner from the nurses with second to none. The checking staff was kind and sweet and made me feel welcome. I would love to be the spokesperson in commercials for Cypress surgery. And the most important thing of my experience here was I am a transgender female in a treated me with respect never made me feel uncomfortable not once and I thank you guys for that 🙏 this one is special to my heart I have a 4-year-old daughter with autism spectrum 2 with ADHD and they helped out with the situation with him waiting with my wife until I was done with my surgery and again thank you awesome you guys are the best, 💯👍🙌🙏🌈

Thank you so much for taking good care of me! Thank you for putting my IV in my foot AFTER I was asleep. Thank you for your kind words when I was waking up. Thank you for showing my family respect. Thank you for sending a care instructions home with me. All these things that we forget to be thankful for. Most of all thank you for making my first surgery a calming and positive experience.

Had Garrett as my post op nurse and Lauren as my pre op nurse and both were amazing!! Made me laugh, all my needs were met immediately and with a smile, they were both a great and comforting presence to have before and after a scary surgery and my family I had nothing but great things to say about them, even after I sobered up. 10/10 experience because of them and the other staff were equally as good and supportive, although I don’t remember all of their names 😅

Most everyone was good except the young recovery nurse who was incredibly patronizing. Unfortunately I left with her memory so I have bad feelings about it all. Do NOT have surgery here if you’re over 50. You will be talked down to, ignored and end up feeling old and like the nurse thinks you have dementia.
