Dr David Mueller Aesthetic

From the first phone call to me leaving after my extraction it was a 5 star experience. Everyone in this office is friendly and knowledgeable. Also pain free! I highly recommend this practice. Dr Mueller is exceptional!

Best experience ever! My general dentist found a suspicious area on my xrays. Sent me to Dr Mueller and he ended up doing a pretty significant surgery on me to remove a cyst under my lower front teeth. He is thorough, explains procedures and answers questions in terms that I could understand. Very caring doctor and the front staff is absolutely the best! If you need an oral surgeon he is the best!!!!

Horrible horrible experience with the doctor and Liva. They are not connected to MyChart so good luck getting her to send records in a timely manner vs 5-7 business days for 2 visits. Good luck getting one version then after nothing is produced, you get told another version. Just good luck and do your due diligence. Respecting a patient isn’t treating them like this. They close at 3:30pm Monday. I rush from the airport and it’s 3:03 because she no longer wants to accept the hippa email she told me to fill out to get my records, now she wants their form filled out. Well, hey, I call back because I have questions. She doesn’t answer (Liva). Instead, she turns the phones off after calling me (I assume accidentally) and leaves the office immediately. I saw her in her vehicle. How inappropriate to act towards a patient needing records you literally billed them for. Customer service score is not even on a scale. Because when one thinks they can tell you anything, and they believe that themselves, all hope is lost with me. Respectfully, just send my records. When I made the second appointment over the phone, it was “Oh Sentara my chart takes FOREVER to upload” today when I called…Liva told me they don’t use Sentara Mychart. How many excuses or pieces of misinformed information does one endure before they tell others?

I have been going to Dr Mueller for decades. Even when he was back on Mill Dam. I have referred over 10 people to him. Both of my children and stepsons had wisdom teeth surgery with him. I had many procedures through him. I recently called and was completely appalled at the customer service from the front desk. Lyba and Misty were so rude, I spent days trying to figure out what I had done to deserve it. The prices have gone up and I get it. I just said I would get less done. No problem. No call back after several attempts. I called around town and found that everyone was cheaper AND WAY KINDER ANYWAY. I wish I would have known sooner. Dr Mueller is a cool dude. Hire new staff! Received surgery from Dr mueller procedure was good work, but the attitudes of the staff are horrendous. One female nurse asked me who the lady( My wife) a lady of whiter skin color )was that kissed me on the cheek right in front of her eyes……………. My first question is why does a nurse who she doesn’t have to talk to my wife need to know who she ? My second question is if the front desk staff who were amazing already told her the situation. Then before you asked my this why was a face made at my wife for kissing me on the cheek when I was called back for surgery. Nor did she talk to my wife after surgery just seems like a targeted question. The face that was made that wife and I saw made a face when my wife kissed me as if it was cringy.?This women with 3 carat diamond ring on her ring finger was clearly my wife. Who I’ve been with for 11 years and married for 8 months. Now idk why you’d ask me who this women was, why does it matter ? Some really important questions to ask your staff……..And her response to me saying this you lady was my wife was a shocked (really.) Why is that ? I won’t get into the semantics doesn’t matter just do better. Also Dr mueller great guy, but when someone comes in crying in a form of doctor anxiety there’s no room for sympathy just get over it. I had no smell of marrijauna on clothes or skin, my eyes aren’t shot or glossy. Now after smelling mariujana in my lungs which is legal (During sugery)Dr.Mueller goes and questions my clueless wife as to why I smoked before the appoint which I didn’t. And if Dr mueller would have waited at least 10 min for me sober(from the anesthesia) up a second I could have explained the Situation which he did not. He pulled me out of surgery and asked me right away while I was basically semi lucid , but I answered his question the same way my wife did not having even seen her yet. Why assumed were lying? I feel like this could’ve been avoided entirely. lets stop judging people please and thank you
