Amy Shaffer at Southside Dermatology is amazing! She’s super kind and makes you feel really comfortable during your appointment. She’s also very efficient and respectful of your time while still taking the time to answer questions and explain everything clearly. Overall a great experience I highly recommend her!

It took several weeks for them to call me to book an appointment, and when I called back and spoke with someone, the earliest availability was three months out. They also weren’t able to schedule the appointment during that call—apparently a different team has to call back to actually book it, which just creates unnecessary telephone tag. The process feels unnecessarily complicated and not very considerate of patients’ time. I’ll update this review if the actual appointment experience is better, but so far the scheduling process has been frustrating.

My doctor sent in the referral and it took over a month (Aug 9th-sept 24th) to hear from them. When they did call me to schedule, I missed the call. After calling them for 3 days and leaving messages I finally heard back from someone. They asked me if this was a referral and I said yes, so they transferred me to the referral department. The woman I talked to was so incredibly hateful and rude. I don't even want to go to my appointment. I will be calling tomorrow to cancel it. And I will be asking my doctor to send a referral to another place because I don't want to go here now. She asked me if I wanted to go to the Tulsa or the broken arrow or a different location. I told her I would prefer Tulsa. The next available opening was December 15th. For reference, it is September 24th now. So I would have to wait almost 3 months. I said well maybe I should consider a different location if they can get me in sooner. She was incredibly rude and said that I would need to speak to those other locations to make that appointment. I told her I assumed since she asked me which location I wanted, that she could set the appointment for that location if I wanted. She was very rude but I went ahead and set the appointment. She said do you have any more questions before I let you go? No thank you, no have a good day, no customer service what so ever. Like I had done something wrong or inconvenienced her. Like I said, I will be canceling this appointment and I will not be giving this place my business. There's no reason for her to treat me that way.

Lousy service from start to finish. Trying to talk to a human here is almost impossible. I was unable to get a hold of anyone for a doctor’s note for missing work for this appointment that they didn’t even execute correctly. After driving 2 hours, I was taken back into a room and forgotten about for over an hour before someone got to me. I was self pay and paid upon checkout. There is NO REASON to charge me $68 two months later. We are nickel, dimed & taxed to death and as far as I am concerned, I am not paying any more money for an incomplete procedure.
