My husband had surgery at Camp Lowell Surgery Center yesterday and it was a very good experience. From intake with Christine, pre-op nurse Natalie, the amazing team in the operating room of Dr. Ochieng anesthesiologist, Lucas OR nurse, and of course the surgeon Dr. Artz, my husband felt cared for and comfortable. I've forgotten the name of the lovely post-op nurse. The team is a well oiled machine and makes what can be an unnerving experience much less stressful. I appreciate the care my husband received and how well informed I was as the spouse. While I hope we don't need the services again, if we did need surgery we would 100% go back to Camp Lowell.

I was so nervous for my first time. I had a surgery done in my nose. Best experience ever. Staff is the best made me feel real comfortable.

I had my first ever surgery here a week ago and my experience was incredible! Each individual I came into contact with was so kind and helpful and supportive. My pre op nurse was Crystal and she was the absolute best! She went above and beyond to ensure I was as comfortable as possible. She is so caring and sweet and nurturing and was definitely meant to be a nurse and I am very grateful she was mine. My anesthesiologist was Dr. Bower and he was amazing. His experience in his field certainly shows. He was so personable and charismatic and funny, when you’re talking to him all your potential fears go away and you forget what you’re even there for. I wish I could remember more names but I’m sincerely thankful for everyone, from the front desk to the OR team. Hopefully I am as lucky for future surgeries.

My husband had a surgery here last week. All the nurses were extremely kind and caring before and especially after his procedure. There was a delay in the schedule for the day and we ended up waiting an extra two hours to start his surgery even though we showed up early. The delay was not communicated to us until we asked what the hold up was. I also observed one of the surgeons completely disregard a patient’s concern about her recovery post-op. He wasn’t our surgeon, he was one of the eye surgeons, but he was extremely arrogant and rude to his patient who has valid concerns about her eye. The payment was also a little odd. They weren’t able to provide us with an itemized receipt so I had to explicitly ask what our payment would be covering (heads up it doesn’t cover any anesthesia). Overall a good experience and grateful we were able to get my husband’s surgery done.

I am really sad that such great doctors use this surgery center. Nurse was rude removing our 10 yr old daughter from recovery without a parent in the lobby. When I found them. She stood defending her action claiming policy, when other staff member were fine and let her in. She then shut the door leaving my son without a parent in recovery with him after surgery. The surgery center had that same nurse call us to check on our son not with an apology with the excuse of policy. I am in tears now out of frustration and the nerve of them having her call our home.
