Everyone was very nice here, but my OR nurses were very good at putting me at ease since I was nervous that my surgery was local anesthetic only. I talk a lot when I'm nervous and they were great at carrying on conversations with me about my dogs, their dogs, medicines etc. we even talked about house plants etc.

2024 was a bad year for me starting out with a knee scope with Dr. Justin Lea m, M.D. in April. That went well and pretty simple and easy minor procedure. Nurses and staff took great care of you and made sure you were fine to home. I was sent home pretty much right away. Unfortunately, after MRI results on my hip I was diagnosed with Avascular Nacrosis in both my hip joints. I stayed in the same office but with Dr. Benjamin Salpeitro, M.D. and he did my left replacement on Halloween and then yesterday January 9th 2025 I just got my right hip replaced. All the nurses, staff, and Doctors took really care of you and made sure you were comfortable, prepared and ready for surgery. Anesthesiologist did great with the medicine and spinal block. My hip replacements I was in recovery a little longer because of the spine block and had to wait for full recovery in my legs, then work with physical therapy and dona few test la before I left. But while waiting they brought me lunch and dinner. During phase 2 recovery the physical therapist came in to work with me and had feeling to my legs and every below the waist but for some reason was not ready to get up and as we were walking to the bathroom I was not feeling well. The therapist did a great job knowing what was going on and reacting by getting me s chair. I passed out for a briefly moment but the therapist and nurses were able to get me safely into the recliner and took my blood pressure and it was extremely low. They gave fluids in my IV and I ate some crackers and kepted drinking water. I had to just sit back and relax until they came back to check on me. I want to recognize my main nurse Jen who did a great job yesterday and was promptly attended to me when needed. The who staff in the phase 2 was great and even the physical therapists too. I recommend any knee scope or hip replacements done here.

I can't say enough to convey how great my experience was while getting a total knee replacement. All of the medical staff were professional and very friendly. Any nerves or fears were gone after meeting Erin, the Pre-op Nurse. She made me feel quite comfortable and through simple conversation, my wife and I found that she knew so many of my wife's family members. This common ground made my fears disappear. Upon meeting the others who handled my care, I felt that all involved with my care actually cared and were totally involved with my recovery. From post-op care to meeting the therapy department, everyone was wonderful! I am so glad that I chose Dr. Craig Assenmacher and Wildwood Surgical for my procedure.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. A surgery at Wildwood gave my father meningitis. All doctors and nurses refused to take accountability and he’s still paying the price. Stay away from this place at all costs.
