Love Dr Shannon! I had a double mastectomy and he is doing my reconstruction. I have to say his bed side manner is great and his staff is wonderful as well. You could not find a better doctor!!!

The staff at this location was phenomenal. Very proficient and professional. Will definitely recommend. Dr. Shannon has excellent bedside manners and made my procedure as comfortable as possible.

A couple of years ago, I was referred to Dr Shannon's practice, for a breast reduction, due to spinal injury. My 1st initial visits to consult with the Dr and his staff were great. They were all very friendly and helpful. Since this was a medically necessary procedure, we had to wait to see if insurance would cover the cost. After 2 weeks of waiting, I was notified that it was approved. If didn't take too long after that, that we scheduled the procedure. Still feeling like I made the right choice to use dr Shannon. June 22nd, 2021 came quickly. I am scheduled to have the procedure done at tomball hca. Go in, everything seemed fine, had the surgery and went home to recover. A couple days after the surgery, my incisions became inflamed and on the right side it even started to blister. I contacted the dr office, or I should say I tried. It was after hours and they didn't even have an on call answering service, nor did they have a dr on call for after hours emergency for their surgical patients. I ended up at an urgent care and was prescribed another antibiotic. Told to follow up with surgeon. I had to wait 2 weeks, because he was gone out of town. When he finally returned and I saw him several times over the course of the next 3 weeks. Oral meds were not working and I developed necrosis on both breasts, but the right one was the worse. All he did to treat me was continue oral antibiotics and keep clean n dry. He refused to send me to a wound care specialist and threatened to fire me as a patient if I sought outside help. That was the last time I spoke to or saw dr Shannon again. My pcp referred me to a wound care specialist and I was their patient for 1.5 years because of my wounds. I'm scarred for life. I need a revision surgery because of how bad they are, but because of the trauma he caused me, I'm afraid to get anything done. Thanks for the trauma KEYSTONE!!!
