Joshua A. Halpern, M.D., P.A., is top-notch. I had my first procedure here over 10 years ago when a couple of close friends referred me. My surgery was seamless, and I had a perfect outcome. Several years later, I moved to South Florida and recently consulted with doctors in my area for a second procedure. However, I ultimately decided to travel back to Tampa because I was fully confident they’d deliver the best possible results. Dr. Halpern is caring and comprehensive. His artistry and expertise as a surgeon are unmatched. The office manager, Kelly, has been there for over 20 years, will assist you through each step, and is very patient and thorough. Brianna and Tessa are attentive and compassionate during each appointment and for surgery. April and Sara answered my calls and helped me right away. I’m 8 days post-op and feel and look great. I’m eternally grateful to everyone for their care and support. Thanks again Dr. Halpern and staff. I’ll see you in 2 months for my check-up!

I just recently chose Dr Joshua Halpern to perform my surgery (breast explant) where he removed my 20 year old implants. I met with him twice in the past year before I was finally ready and not once did he ever make me feel rushed. He even called me on the phone from his personal cell to answer some other questions I had and to reassure me. I was very nervous because I’d had implants for 20 years and they had been causing me chronic ongoing pain, so I needed to get them out but I also needed a surgeon willing to do an enbloc/ total capsulectomy who I could trust to do it the RIGHT WAY to get them out with the capsules intact and STILL look aesthetically pleasing after the fact. We agreed on a minimal donut lift to help shape the breasts and he used his “recruitment lift technique” which he perfected to help preserve all my breast tissue to give me more volume. I am still healing but so far they look great and I am very pleased with the entire process and the level of care. I was a B when I got them in, I’ve been a D for 20 years, and the way it’s looking I think I’m going to be a nice C once I’m all healed, which is perfect. I would highly recommend him (if you are considering getting your implants out) to at least go and consult with him. He was patient, kind, thorough, and very clean. I lost very little blood during the surgery. He took videos and photos of the surgery at my request and I am very impressed. And he’s got the nicest staff. I highly recommend this practice!

I recently had surgery with Dr. Halpern and he is by far the best doctor I have ever had. I traveled in from out of state because of his good reputation and proof of previous results. What stands out most about Dr. Halpern, aside from his craftsmanship, is that he makes you feel like you are his top priority. He spends time with you explaining every component of the procedure and provides the time and space to answer all of your questions. He also has a great pre-op (multi-week) vitamin routine that prepares your body for surgery and a speedy recovery. He is also the only doctor I know who provides you his cell phone number and calls you and your caregiver directly after surgery. It is not a nurse that follows up. He personally calls to check on you for multiple days after the procedure. I would definitely go back to him for any future procedures and will be recommending him to all of my friends.

I just returned to Dr Halpern‘s office for another procedure recently. As always, his expertise and artistry in his work is impeccable. Not only did he explain the procedure in detail so that I could be knowledgeable of the process, but he was always available when I had questions and so as his office staff. In my opinion, he doesn’t perform surgery, he performs art. I also want to do a shout out at his office staff because those girls were amazingly patient with me with all my questions and available anytime I need them and also, always, in a good mood. The whole experience was amazing and I had amazing results. Strongly recommend his art!!!

I am very happy with Dr Halpern and the results of my Breast Re-augmentation surgery. It’s been a 45 days since I had the surgery and I am very happy with the results now that the swelling has subsided. Dr Halpern is not only an awesome surgeon with excellent bedside manners but also a perfectionist artist. I love the fact that he makes it a priority to mitigate infection pre, during and post surgery. Recovery was a breeze and I was not in a lot of pain that I didn’t need to take the pain medication. He provided full instructions on what to do and expect from the day you scheduled your surgery thru post recovery. He also spends time with you to explain the how’s and the whys of the surgery. He showed us pics/video before, during and post surgery and explain in great detail what happened etc..I felt very comfortable with Dr Halpern and felt safe with him doing my surgery.
