Excellent surgeon. Down to earth, honest, helpful. . sets good realistic expectations. He and his staff all have great bedside manners. I'm very pleased with the cost & work. But what sold me most? The doctor wears a pager 24/7 in case he's in the hospital and doesn't have cell reception so all his patients can reach him when neded. Also when I made the appointment online he called me himself, not an assistant. which I though was a very strong show of his passion for what he does. Lastly, he doesn't have any lawsuits, despite a long history of plastic surgeries. & all the hospital staff kept on commenting he was one of the best plastic surgeons and performs beautiful work. He deserves a high rating, he's fantastic. Id recommend considering a consult with him while looking for the right surgeon for you.

Dr Boswell is a consummate professional! He and his entire team made me feel comfortable and extremely cared for before, during and after my major surgery. Dr Boswell takes his time to explain things thoroughly along the road of recovery and his vast knowledge in his field is very reassuring that you are in good care!

If you’re looking for a supportive, sensitive, and honest doctor, do not go to Boswell! I went to this doctor for an augmentation and wish I looked elsewhere. From the beginning of scheduling the appointment to the complications I have to this day, it’s been a disaster since day one. My first warning sign was During my second consultation. He refused to show me what he was putting inside of me after I asked if we were seeing any implants. He said “Nope, I know what I’m doing” and that he didn’t need to bring any out. I took this as a sign of confidence, to which now I should’ve taken as a red flag. As of Surgery day, it went well, but after a few days, I noticed my right side was in severe pain. I called numerous times, to which he told me it was just the healing process or because it was on my dominant side but it never went away. Later, I found my implant was sliding into my armpit. When I called about my physical concerns and pain, he told me to come in to which I did. This time I went in alone and was completely dismissed by doctor Boswell. I showed him what I was seeing and feeling, but he told me it was a healing process and to wait it out. After leaving in tears, I went home and left it for a few more weeks, thinking he might be right. A month later, I still couldn’t sleep on my right side. I was so frustrated, thinking this shouldn’t be happening after multiple months of recovery, I called to be seen again. This time I brought my fiancé, thinking he would be more serious about my concerns having the man in the room who financed the procedure. When I lied down to show my concern, this time, the nurses face immediately showed exactly what I was worried about. It was clear there was an issue but nothing was being said. He continued to dismiss me and my fiancé, accused me of googling symptoms. After completely disrespecting us both for 30 minutes, doctor Boswell told me my options were one of three- 1.”deal with it”, and yes, he said those words to a patient that just spent $10,000 on a procedure, 2. To put in some mesh on the right side, but I would looked “silly” and “deformed”, or 3. Take them out and not have any implants. He never once took any responsibility or validated any of my concerns that I was having about the pain or the deformity of my breast. All he had to say at the end of my appointment was “You have a GOOD result.” And repeated this about three separate times. After the appointment I left in tears, knowing at this point I needed to redo my augmentation with another doctor to correct Dr. Boswells malpractice. I have finally met a doctor who validated all concerns, to which he gave different options in order to fix the problem, but am now paying more than double for my augmentation. I’m writing this not only tell you my surgery didn’t go as planned, but to tell you this man had absolutely no bedside manner with his patients. He will tell you what makes himself look good in order to cover his mistakes and seem like your concerns are nothing to worry about. Had he said, “Sure, I see what you’re saying, let’s fix it” I would’ve been on board. But the gaslighting this doctor does to his staff and patients is beyond unprofessional. DO NOT GO TO BOSWELL!
