Woodlands/Houston locations: I had a very good experience with Jennie Carroll - she was professional, kind and clearly explained the pros and cons of ear molding. We saw significant improvement in our son's helix on both sides after 8 weeks though only slight improvement in the earlobes (they still stick out), but overall I consider it a win as a non-surgical option to get little ears a little more shapely. Note to those considering it - pay attention to the warning to keep your baby's ears dry. If they do get damp, it can lead to skin irritation from the wet tape that prevents the ear mold from being put in place until the skin heals. With only a 6-12 week window before the cartilage 'sets' it can really eat into your time.

Corrected my child's ear. They know all the different kinds of deformities and how to fix them. The plastic molds they put on the ear are breathable and flexible enough for the baby to be comfortable. Bedside manner is great.

Do not come here! It's a scam. You must pay upfront for the procedure. It takes the billing department MONTHS for them to submit all insurance claims. They do not follow up with insurance, you as a patient have to follow-up with insurance to see what is the hold up. Then you find out insurance is requesting more documentation, but Ear Wells states they never got that communication from the insurance. It’s a lot of back and forth. You are off better going else where. The doctor also isn't present. He does everything virtual and the NPs are trained to place the molds on the ears.

Dallas Location: This place is an absolute money grab. I would not recommend this office to anyone. You will see the doctor on the first visit and never ever see him again. He was a kind soul and a sweet face to reel you in. I am a mom of three and have been to a whole lot of doctor visits, and have never ever felt the way the nurses made me feel here. I would fill up with anxiety before each appointment and leave with tears after each one. I cried because I was trying to help my baby and each appointment the nurse gave me zero confidence and would ask “do you want them taped?” She would rely on my answer instead of having the expertise to know. I followed instructions perfectly and did exactly as I was told. Laurie made me feel the size of an ant and Tina brought me to tears bc of her inability to know if the tape needed to remain on each week and her disrespect. She was the main reason I think this place is just out to get your money bc she displayed there is no scientific way of proving improvement. And now, 8 months later my son’s ears still stick out like they did before. There is improvement in the shape of the ear (the fold over) but they guaranteed it would keep them from sticking out and that is not the case. Waste of money!!!!
