Optum MOHS surgery, Dr Daniel Berg & Nurse LeAnn, have cared for me through multiple procedures over five years and I’ve come to believe that I could not get better care anywhere. A couple instances were a bit complex and they delivered a perfect outcome just like the simpler ones. I have complete faith in their care and the care I receive from the team at Optum.

In 2023, before I met Dr. Gougoutas, I had started the process of having a 360 tummy tuck, breast implant and lift and BBL in another state. I had the BBL, breast implants and the back half of the 360 tummy tuck completed but started bleeding out during breast implants which ultimately ceased the completion of the rest of my surgery. I found out that this happened because I have a bleeding disorder called VonWillebrands Disease (vWD). After finding this out, it became extremely difficult to find a surgeon who was comfortable finishing my mommy makeover. In 2024, after I received so many “no’s” from surgeons refusing to work on me, I found Dr. Gougoutas. After a consultation, explaining my health history and desperation to finish my surgery he gave me hope… finally. This man and his team did their homework and worked so closely with my primary doctor, my hemotologists and gave me referrals to whoever I needed to get this done. It took a year to get everything lined up for my safety but Dr. Gougoutas never gave up and my safety was his #1 concern. I can’t speak more highly of a surgeon and his team. They are all extremely responsive and available, so very kind, he made me feel safe- even when I was so scared before surgery and the best part is that I love my results! He was able to give me the body that I dreamed of for so long and I can’t thank him enough. I recommend him to ANYBODY wanting any kind of surgery especially people who have the same condition that I have. He is the best out there!

Dr. Wei is a great plastic surgeon. Her work is amazing in terms of attention to details and the results.

If I could give an 11, I would! Dr. Paige and everyone in his office is professional, but kind, efficient, but unhurried. Dr. Paige's manner is warm and caring. Couple that with two other facts; he clearly knows his craft (yes, I research before visits ;o) and he came highly recommended by my doctor whom I have great trust in. More than worth the drive from Bellingham to consult with him and his staff. I'm looking forward to my surgery with a greatly appreciated calmness thanks to Dr. Paige, and Laura, who has wonderfully coordinated my care journey.

Dr Wang is an excellent Mohs surgeon. He has a wonderful bedside manner which put me at ease. He explained the procedure well and made this an easier experience than I expected. I highly recommend him.
