Dr. Blankenship is by far the Compassionate doctor there is. He removed my large intestines and had to give me a ileostomy bag For a few months and then reverse it to a J pouch. Back in 2010. I since then have been going back-and-forth to see him (due to my disease )and he has been a great doctor. Him and his team have been amazing. I am so thankful to be here because of him and his staff.

I went to Candler ER Wednesday night. Consulted with Dr. Barnes yesterday and he did my surgery first thing this am(Friday). He is the most down to earth, realest doctor I’ve ever met. He sugarcoated nothing. He talked to me like a person and not just another job(patient). His explanations for stuff are understandable and not the usual generic medical terms you have to later Google. 10 out 10 would recommend. I hope I never have the issue I had again, but if I do, I’m going straight to his office. Thank you Dr. Barnes! You took great care of me.

My son has seen Doctor Foley, his nurse, and front office staff. I could not be more pleased how determined and compassionate they have all been for him. My son is only 6 and is generally pretty shy/timid. They all have done beautifully making him feel comfortable. I would highly recommend Metro Surgical. (And most certainly, Dr.Foleys team)
