Dr. W. Joe Campbell

I got a breast reduction due to severe back pain. All i can say is it was the BEST experience ever. The whole team including Dr. Campbell were so great, reassuring, and helpful during the whole process. I told him to take me them as small as possible and he did just that! If you’re hesitant, DON’T! Book your consultation immediately.

In 2020 I had a lumpectomy on my left breast in another state. In late 2023 I was told I needed another one. I am in my lower 30s and have 3 kids. I didnt want to have to do this surgery anymore and didn’t want to risk a form of cancer that was caught to late given family history. The breast cancer center scheduled me for a bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction with Dr.Campbell preforming the reconstruction half. This is a sensitive surgery on the emotional end for many women. I can say that from the very first appointment with Dr.Campbell I was given a bit of comfort and hope from both him and his staff. I had ALOT of post surgical healing issues due to prior surgery and a medical condition that complicates surgery and healing. I ended up needing an emergency surgery due to the failure of my prior surgical side closing. That side isn’t perfect but given the unique circumstances I present with I am amaz d with the end result. I am very aware that most reconstructions post bilateral are pretty uneven and even a bit unsightly. I can say, with confidence, that my results far surpass any expectations we may have had. The scaring is almost nonexistent on the right breast and the left breast scaring is less than expected given the complications I faced. The left side re-opened weeks after implant placement and became infected with the implant bubbling out. I have reviewed many reconstructive results without my unique complications and expected far more asymmetrical results with substantially greater scaring. I cannot speak to other cosmetic surgeries but can refer breast surgery consults to Dr.Campbell with confidence. If and when it comes time to ‘refresh’ my reconstructive implants I hope I have the opportunity to do so with this doctor and his kind, empathetic, and caring team. A bit of advice I did learn from one of his wonderful nurses, DONT FORGET VITAMIN K! I am now just over 1 year post emergency surgery on that left side and I have more nerve regeneration and sensation than I ever expected to regain!!! I wish I could add pictures without this review being deleted just to show everyone how great the results are. I know most uncomplicated cases have lesser results than I do. If his team happens to see this I hope they may add my words to any before/after they may have posted just so others may feel more confident in their decision to trust him and his team. I will also add that he is a very sweet and innocent individual and one nurse in particular, who also enjoys reading, will giggle about that comment. Ladies, you are SAFE with this doctor and his team!

Dr Campbell and his staff are amazing. So professional. I had a broken hand and they did that and after weight loss surgery I got an around the world, breast augmentation and arms done. He has always done a fantastic job and my scars look minimal. I wouldn’t go to anyone else.

Dr. Campbell and his team are wonderful. They take the time to listen to your concerns and discuss different options for treatment. He is an excellent doctor and has always gone above-and-beyond to make sure I am happy with my results.
