Dr. Bates is an incredibly skilled and humble surgeon. After interviewing several surgeons locally and out of state, he was the only one who truly listened and delivered on all my requests. He’s approachable, easy to talk to, and his work speaks for itself. In a single day, he performed a lower blepharoplasty, fat grafting to the face, chin liposuction, and a breast lift with a small reduction. Natural, tasteful results are possible for younger patients like me approaching 40. The combination of procedures complemented each other beautifully, giving me a refreshed, balanced look without anyone being able to pinpoint exactly why. If you want refined, natural results and a surgeon who truly cares about delivering on your goals, Dr. Bates is the one to trust. Make suer to ask him to show my before-and-after results in the office. His fees are also very reasonable for the Bay Area.

I want to extend my gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Bates and his staff for their work. My daughter had a chin implant procedure done by Dr. Bates that looks and feels absolutely natural as possible. I did a lot of research and interviewed several plastic surgeons in the Bay Area and decided to go with Dr. Bates because of his excellent credentials, kindness and knowledge. He explained the entire procedure in detail, including the appropriate chin size that would balance out my daughter’s entire face. My daughter felt comfortable with the procedure every step of the way. We are absolutely thrilled with the results! Dr. Bates and his staff thoroughly exceeded our expectations.

Dr Bates is an extremely skilled plastic surgeon as well as a very kind and empathetic Doctor. I needed a lumpectomy (and a reduction on the other breast to match) and he did a truly amazing job. I now have slightly smaller breasts that look natural and well shaped .... I always feel like the result that he achieved turned my distressing experience with cancer from lemons into lemonade! I am deeply grateful to Dr Bates for both his great work and his kindness. He is a wonderful and very talented Doctor.

Dr. Bates is hands down the best. He explains everything with detail and answers any questions so you feel comfortable. I would recommend anyone planning on getting a breast augmentation to go to him. I have heard nothing but good things about this Dr. Bates and the other doctors at this office. The staff and nurses are knowledgeable and super nice and my whole experience was awesome and since it was my first surgical experience and a really good one from the time I made the appointment till my last was a really good experience I was always seen right away. I never sat waiting like at some other doctors offices I’ve been to before I I discovered Dr. Bates. Did I Mention I love my results!!!! I got exactly what I wanted . I couldn’t be happier.
