Dr.Bates deserves a 10 star review. 5 month post op surgery and I love my result. I was told by other surgeons that fat transfer won’t work but he did such a nice job and it’s so natural. I am also thankful for all the post op visits and clear communication from their staff. They have done 3 follow ups for me and result is just getting better.

I spent over a month researching and trying to find the right doctor to treat my gynecomastia. After narrowing it down, I chose Dr. Steven Bates at Reveal Plastic Surgery because everything I saw gave me confidence. My consultation went well, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The surgery itself was successful, and for that I am grateful. Unfortunately, my experience after surgery has been deeply disappointing. My first post-op appointment was rescheduled by the office. I understood that things happen and didn’t think much of it. My second follow-up appointment was also rescheduled. Again, I tried to be patient. The final follow-up was scheduled a full month in advance for December 29 2025. I never received a call or text to cancel or reschedule. I showed up to the office only to be told by the receptionist that the doctor was not in that day. No one had notified me. As a patient who trusted this practice and invested my hard-earned money, that moment felt incredibly discouraging. Aftercare is just as important as the surgery itself. When communication stops and follow-ups fall through, it makes you feel unvalued and forgotten. What concerns me even more is that since December, neither the front desk nor the doctor has reached out to reschedule or offer an apology. That lack of accountability and basic communication has left a lasting impression. I went into this experience feeling hopeful and confident. I’m sharing this because post-surgical care and respect for patients’ time truly matter. I hope this feedback encourages improvements in how patients are treated after their procedures.
