Dr. Kim has some prime real estate in the bay area that's for sure! What a view. And chocolates! I only came for a consult and I thought he was very kind and attentive and had my best interests at heart and very realistic. Would recommend him absolutely for a consult.

I am 6 months post rhinoplasty with Dr. Kim and I could not be happier with the experience. The care and time that was taken to fully detail what to expect made me feel both calm and assured that I was in the best of hands. I waited for years to find the right doctor and Dr. Kim and his staff made it an easy choice in the end.

About seven weeks post-rhinoplasty, I’m really happy with my results. I had a bulbous tip and some dips at the front of my nose, and Dr. Kim addressed both beautifully. Right after cast removal, my nose looked and felt quite swollen, which worried me at first, but within two weeks the swelling reduced significantly. I’d honestly be happy if this were my final result, and knowing it will continue to refine over the next few months is even better. There are no visible scars, and most people can’t tell I had surgery, which was exactly what I wanted (natural look that still feels like me). Even my parents, who were initially hesitant, love the outcome (my dad even joked about getting one himself). Overall, I couldn’t be happier!!

Dr. Kim gave me my life back! After a failed primary rhinoplasty with lots of unconsented procedures by a well-known surgeon in Turkey, I was left dealing with both functional issues and a deep sense of betrayal. The experience was honestly traumatic. As a Black man, finding a revision surgeon who truly understands and respects ethnic features was not easy. Many surgeons either don’t have the experience or don’t take the time to understand what a natural outcome should look like for different faces. Dr. Kim stood out immediately. He led with empathy, actually listened, and understood my goal of restoring a more natural balance to my face, including increasing flare. He was also one of the few surgeons willing to remove my septal extension graft (SEG), which had been causing me significant discomfort. That alone made a huge difference in how my nose feels day to day. Functionally, the improvement has been life-changing. My breathing is fixed, and replacing the SEG with ear cartilage grafts made my nose feel much more like my own again. Aesthetically, I still wish I had more flare, but that limitation comes from the alarplasty done by my primary surgeon, not Dr. Kim. Overall, I’m very happy with my decision. More than anything, Dr. Kim brings empathy into his work, and that’s something I didn’t realize was so rare until I went through this process. I would absolutely recommend him, especially for complex revision cases.
