AirSculpt - San Diego

I am a very healthy woman: workout , run, hike, bike, etc. My diet is pretty much on point. All lab works come back perfectly in sync. Unfortunately, this past year has been a difficult one to deal with as I greeted Perimenopause. Many of us want a miracle, quick results and minimal medical intervention, some aid to deal with the stubborn fat that just wants to stay No matter the effort. And that is why I have reached to AirSculpt in La Jolla. Jessica was my point of contact and was very understanding to all my needs and concerns. I felt welcomed and safe in the office. Most importantly, I didn’t feel like I was rushed by the staff and the doctor who did an assessment of my body and my wants. The procedure was quite comfortable and quick. I was provided with everything I needed for the week to recover at home. It was heart warming to receive phone calls and texts from the office to inquire about my wellbeing and comfort during the recovery. Even though it has been just a week, I’m seeing the results and look forward when my body will not have any more swelling. Thank you everyone!

I did extreme weight loss and all the exercises to target the front bra roll area bit it would not go away. This is a very stubborn area. Airsculpt helped me remove it. This will help me stop the desire of losing weight excessively, I am already very thin. The procedure was easy and my recovery super fast. The team made me feel very comfortable during the process. Doctor Nalluri and the team of nurses are very professional! Everything advertised is true.

I highly recommend Dr Nalluri and his team are very friendly and welcoming. I meet with Dr Nalluri for one consultation with him and I felt very confident to schedule my appointment for my air sculpt. I came in two days later for my air sculpting arms, back rolls and fat transfer. I Cant wait to see my results.

I am relatively thin (5’3” 125 lbs), but was interested in Airsculpt on my arms for some fat removal and more contour and definition. After doing extensive research on Airsculpt—specifically at the San Diego location—I decided to book a consult with Dr Nalluri. When I called, they said Dr Nalluri is not in SD often, but I can schedule the consult with the other surgeon, Dr Alwen. I was hesitant since there were no reviews of Dr Alwen anywhere, but thought it would be worthwhile to at least meet him. When I arrived to my consultation, I learned that I would only be meeting with the surgery coordinator and not the surgeon. I was shocked by this. I don’t know anyone who would commit to undergoing surgery without getting to meet and speak to the surgeon and have them evaluate you in person. I told the surgery coordinator that I wanted to speak to Dr Alwen directly. I also told her that the person who scheduled my consult said I would be able to meet the surgeon during my consult. She informed me that Dr Alwen decided to leave shortly after I arrived because he lives in LA and it was close to rush hour traffic. I was shocked yet again. I’m a medical provider myself, and would never be able to walk out the door if I had a patient waiting for me, simply because it was rush hour. It was disrespectful of my time when I scheduled the consult to specifically meet and speak to Dr Alwen. Since I knew nothing about Dr Alwen and wasn’t able to meet with him, I asked to see some of his arm lipo work. They were not able to provide me with photos, but said they could find some and email them to me later. When they sent me a few photos of his work, they were all women with significantly larger arms than myself. They told me they had no photos to show me of women similar in size to me. In addition, the prices are extremely steep. They tried to upsell me on the skin tightening (once again- I’m 125 lbs with relatively muscular arms and not a ton of fat) for an additional 2k, and basically said I needed it. I went to three other consults, and all three surgeons said I didn’t need skin tightening. In total, I was quoted close to 9k for my arms and anterior armpit for Airsculpt- and this is with a 2k discount for their April special. I went to a few other consults for awake liposuction of the arms, and was quoted between $2500 to $3800. Plus, these other surgeons at these other clinics actually met with me during the consult and spent at least 20-30 minutes with me answering all my questions. Ultimately, I decided to go with another place who 1) is much more affordable 2) surgeon was very warm, accommodating, and actually met with me 3) was able to show me plenty of photos of their work on women similar to my size.
