I am incredibly grateful for the exceptional care I received at PRMA. From start to finish, my experience with this practice has been nothing short of outstanding. The entire team is professional, compassionate, and truly dedicated to their patients’ well-being. I want to especially recognize Dr. Tyler Merceron, who performed my DIEP flap reconstruction and my revision surgery. His surgical skill, confidence, and attention to detail are absolutely remarkable. Even with the challenges of my blood vessels, he was able to perform a successful reconstruction, remove my implants, and give me results that have completely restored my confidence. I could not have asked for a better surgeon. I also want to give a heartfelt thank you to Natalie, whose kindness, patience, and support made every step of this journey easier. She always made me feel comfortable and cared for, and her dedication truly stands out. PRMA is an extraordinary group, and thanks to Dr. Merceron, Natalie, and the entire team, I feel like myself again. I highly recommend PRMA to anyone seeking breast reconstruction—they are truly the best in every way.

First of all I had to insist on having an in person appointment. I only met my surgeon virtually and was told meeting him the day before the procedure was sufficient. I did not agree. They miraculously fit me in a few months later at 415pm. At 230 someone from scheduling called to inquire if I wanted to come in early at 315, due to a cancellation. That was all the caller said in the voicemail. Coming early would have been impossible since I live an hour away. I made it to the Madison Oak location as I was instructed a week prior and found the office closed. I called the appointment line and was told someone should have called to inform me my surgeon was practicing out of the Huebner location. No one called to confirm other than the inquiry to come in early. I started heading to the Huebner location which was only 20 mins away and it was 4pm because I was early anyways. I would have been to Huebner 5 mins late for my appt due to someone not doing their job. Doctors are always late anyways and the surgeon was 1 hour late to my virtual appointment previously. En route to Huebner someone called to tell me my surgeon wanted to reschedule for Jan 6 because he had to return to the OR. The female calling me also tried to lie and say she called to confirm the huebner appt with me. Total BS. I was extremely upset by the lack of competence in their office administration. I was anxious enough leading up to this day and I went through alot of trouble to get to San Antonio early. Im sure the surgeon himself is very competent and my oncologic breast surgeon said he is the best. He did stay to see me after all the fuss I made. He did not rush and took the time to answer all my questions. He had good bedside manner and put me at ease. This review will be updated later on as I recover. I dont know if this is the way the surgical specialty field is but I dont feel like Im being treated as a person. I have not appreciated dealing with this practice. If I wasnt locked in to my surgery soon Id go elsewhere in hopes of being treated better.

PRMA scheduled my wife in the summer for a consult in dec 2025. We have to drive several hours to get to San Antonio. They rescheduled her appointment 2 weeks prior to. My wife and I had already requested PTO for the originally scheduled day. We requested PTO for the new day. Annoying, but tolerable. It's 4 days before her rescheduled appointment and they called to reschedule again. These folks had 6 months to figure out their schedule and they're making changes at the last minute. Mind you, this is for a service we are PAYING FOR. 16 hours of PTO for each of us, down the drain. This is not a "rare occurrence" as PRMA's reply to another person with the same issue suggests.
