I went to Dr. Jose Barrera for a consultation after being referred to a different surgeon in the area for issues with breathing through my nose. I did a lot of research, read reviews, and ultimately put off the decision for a while. Choosing Dr. Barrera and his office was definitely the right choice. I am approximately 1 month post-op from a septorhinoplasty and I am already beyond happy with my results. Dr. Barrera is very personable and great at explaining procedures and answering questions. His assistant, Dr. Boochoon, is also very knowledgeable. All of the staff have been excellent throughout this process, always friendly, professional, and willing to help. The surgery went very smoothly, and the recovery process has been easy so far. I would highly recommend Dr. Barrera and his team. Their knowledge, professionalism, and level of care exceeded all of my expectations.

Dr. Barrera performed a deep plane neck and face lift, brow lift, blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty and fat buccal removal.I have had IPL laser and Erbium YAG laser procedures as well as dysport injections. Every interaction with Dr. Barrera leaves me feeling more and more confident that we have made the right choices for my transformation journey. And while it has truly been a transformation, I still feel like I recognize myself. He has had an incredible professional journey and has even opened his own surgery center. I still have another procedure planned along with more laser therapy and there is no one else I would trust my face with other than Dr. Barrera.

One month out from my highly complex vision rhinoplasty and I'm glad I went with Dr Jose Barrera at MD Facial Plastic Surgeon. Dr Jose Barerra, Dr Boochoon and the staff did a wonderful job and I'm very happy with the results! The week after was not painful at all - I took two very low dosage non rx grade pain killers the whole time and was just fine. I started light work again two days after surgery (day three probably would have been better lol). I was mostly able to breathe through my nose the whole time (though I was definitely very congested for the first 4-5 days). It's a very professional place that does a wonderful job and the doctors are great listeners.
