Sutter Health is one of the best medical groups in Sacramento. The Fort Sutter Surgery Center is also one of the best under their management. They sent many emails or texts to remind or update a few weeks before the procedure. The Fort Sutter Surgery Center employees are also very friendly and efficient. They're very detailed and careful to ensure everything is accomplished correctly. I feel very confident in their professional service.

Unfortunately I'm old enough to have visited several of these 'colonoscopy mills' locally. None was horrible, but this Sutter facility is one of the best! Folks treated me, and I presume other patients, well and the entire procedure was conducted very professionally and more quickly than ever... I'm sure you appreciate that I chose not to post the photos! PS: They need more lobby signage to help direct folks looking for doctors with offices on other floors.

I've had multiple procedures performed at this facility. Great staff, clean and caring. Parking is easy and free on the attached garage in the building. Don't let the location scare you off...yes its in midtown Sacramento but it really is easy to find and lots of parking.

I was scheduled for an 2 hr outpatient procedure to cover a hole in my eardrum. It was scheduled about 2 months prior. I received a phone call the day before telling me the nearly $40,000 bill was newly posted on my account less than 24hrs before the procedure and asked how much I would like to put down that day. The charges included a $3k “microscope use fee add-on” and didn’t even include anesthesia or facility fees. The average total cost of this procedure is $10k or less. With my insurance applied, it conveniently charged me a bit over the exact amount of everything remaining in my out of pocket expenses (almost $4k). I ended up having to cancel my surgery that I’ve needed for years at the last minute due to the extremely poor communication from the surgery center and price gouging. I called my insurance company and they were not able to pull up the claim on their end. I will continue to look elsewhere for medical care and am very disappointed at the service I’ve received here.
