THE FACILITY AND STAFF ARE INCREDIBLE!! I am a 32 year old female and by mistake I got my finger caught in an electric lawn mower. I went to Unity ED that referred me STAT to RRH Hand surgeon who took TWELVE DAYS to get me in and that doctor was QUICK to say “we need to amputate “. I just could not accept that. I called The Plastic Surgery Group of Rochester, The Rochester Hand Center and from the moment I checked in to seeing Dr. David Refermat the WHOLE staff was incredible! Rosco, the service dog greeted me when I entered (and as I got stitches removed and put in he sat next to me the whole time!). Besides the doctor and Rosco I was also helped by Tracy and Tabatha who also were amazing and had great, professional personalities and we still managed to laugh a few times as well! I recommend this office to anyone and every one of all ages! Dr. Refermat is pretty certain my finger and nail will grow back NORMAL (totally opposite of hearing from the first surgeon that my finger will have to be removed!!!) . I will be going to him also for a breast reduction!!!! No need to look any further! This is the place to go!!!! When my finger is healed I will add before and after photos!

Dr. Brian D. Kubiak is truly one of a kind. From the very first day I met him, he made me feel completely comfortable and at ease. He talks to his patients with so much respect, patience, and understanding. He never made me feel nervous or unsure because he supported me through the entire process. He has truly changed my life, and I am beyond happy with my results. I felt confident and cared for the whole time. It’s hard to even put into words how amazing he is, but he is absolutely the best doctor I have ever had. If you are thinking about going to him, do it. I promise you will not regret it. I recommend him 10/10⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dr. Fink fixed my hands and he did such a great job that after having right breast cancer twice on my 30's I finally decided to get them evened up and Dr. Kubiak did the surgery and I would like to thank the entire group first their compassion and second the quality of their work it was one of the best decisions I made, no more back problems, no more breaking bra straps and cloths that fit again, I should not have waited so long.

For the second time in two years, I received a positive result from a dermatology skin biopsy. Both times I was referred to Dr. David Refermat. Both times Dr. Refermat skillfully excised 100% of the melanoma. He explained every step of what he was doing, and post-surgery instructions were clearly communicated both verbally and in writing. Biopsy results were quickly communicated by the office. Not only is Dr. Refermat a skilled surgeon who left very little scarring, but he and the staff run a very efficient operation. In six visits to this office, I've never waited more than a couple of minutes in the waiting room. Billing was accurate and timely. I would absolutely recommend this office and Dr. Refermat.

Had a wonderful experience with Dr. Reformat. I set an impromptu appointment within the hour of my call to address pain in the back of my hand. Assessment was immediate, and the prognosis was quick, and an approach was implemented to relieve my pain! Casual, personable yet professional, I plan to go back if the problem persists. I highly recommend this practice.
