I went to Dr McCarthy for a 2nd opinion on upcoming mastectomy and breast reconstruction. He was patient and very kind. He explained everything very well. He and his assistant Ally are an amazing team. He does excellent work and I highly recommend him. You won’t find a better surgeon or person.

After a bad experience last year with my oncology surgeon, who lacked bedside manner, I decided that this time around—especially with the likelihood of undergoing a mastectomy—I needed a surgeon who is not only excellent at their job but also takes the time to know their patients and genuinely cares about their needs. I found that in Dr. McCarthy and his assistant, Ally. They are an amazing team! They never make you feel rushed, listen to all your concerns, and answer all your questions. As funny as it may sound, I actually look forward to my appointments and visiting with them both. I am very thankful to have had them on my team during such a scary and difficult time.

WOW...I am not sure where to start. Finding out you have Breast Cancer and then having 4 surgeries prior to meeting with Dr.McCarthy. I am very grateful for finding him. He performed my 5th surgery. It is called DIEP FLAP. He is very thorough and has compassion. ❤️ So far he has exceeded my expectations especially when feeling defeated. He takes pride in his work. Thank you so much!!
