Dr Orten should be the "Gold Standard" of practiciners. A physician who takes great care of insuring YOU understand exactly what is to occur is a rare medical breed. He spent an hour or more explaining, showing etc every step of the way he was to perform my procedure. My operation was done in his office under "light sedation" I guess that's a correct phrase. Although I think it took about three hours I did not feel an ounce of discomfort or pain. The recovery lasted approx a week but again no pain, or discomfort. A call from his office once or twice insured I was mending as intended. This is a fantastic individual. If you find yourself reading this review, I'll end it by saying you will have chosen Dr. Orten wisely.

Dr Orten and his staff are fabulous! I hadn’t had any plastic surgery done before however I felt like my neck, soft jawline and excess eye lid really aged me. Several of my friends had gotten work done, 3 of them with Dr Orten, with favorable results. I will say I chose him because these 3 had the easiest time and got exactly the results they were expecting. My friend that went elsewhere wasn’t as happy overall. Another reason I chose Dr Orten is he didn’t use a general anesthesia. He uses a local, kinda like when you get a c-section. For me, it was an extra margin of error I didn’t want. I will say that if you need a skinny jean wearing dr with a fancy West Plano or Southlake feeling waiting room and a bunch of nurses leveraging their plastic surgery discounts, this ain’t your place. His office is very plain. Clean, professional, zero fluff. On a side note, he asked if he could pray prior to the surgery. I appreciated that. We didn’t discuss each other’s church affiliation or anything however drs can sometimes have a bit of a God complex. I liked that he called on experience and faith before working on me. Very happy, highly recommend!!

I am a 73 year old woman this month.I was referred to Dr. Orten by a friend. Let me just say if you are looking for a doctor that truly loves what he does and is so gifted...Look no further Dr. Orten is the very best. From the moment we met in his office for a consultation I knew I had chosen the right person . I didn’t want to look 50 ... i just wanted to be a realistic better version of myself. My face looks really good but my chin and neck had deteriorated over the years. It didn’t match my face. I also didn’t want to go under for surgery so when he said we could do it with a local ... I was all in for that. I can’t begin to tell you how happy I am with my results . It’s beyond what I had imagined ! Everyone who has seen me says it’s the best work they have EVER seen! Tracy is just a perfect reflection of what the office is. A true delight and so helpful and caring. So let me close by saying I had no pain , I was treated so well and my results are truly amazing . Dr. Orten is a modest man ... no ego just a wonderful and gifted human being . I am beyond grateful.

i live a few hours away but had 6 other ladies that used him and looked fantastic. word gets around at the beauty salon. i had to go. my procedure turned out wonderful. i’m so happy and satisfied. the entire experience was great. i’ve been asked for his name and number numerous times. i’ll be back for another procedure in the near future. thank you dr. o and God bless

Dr. Steven Orten was very personable, and gave me lots of personal attention. He allowed me to ask questions, and prep me prior to surgery by email, and phone. It was not easy to think of questions to ask, since I'd never had any work done on my face before. If you are considering a face lift, I suggest you research multiple doctors. It is a huge investment and you are taking a risk of not getting what you requested. I wish I would have read a book on Plastic Surgery prior to making a decision. There are some books and publications that explain what to expect, before, during, and after. Once the surgery is over with and they have their money, you will probably not hear much if anything from Dr. Steven Orten. I traveled from KC to Planto TX for this experience. When I returned home I had complications with a hematoma. I had to go to a local Plastic Surgeon and it was obvious that she was not thrilled with working on someone else's face work. This was not a good experience. In a nutshell, I'm 62, I was wanting to look 52. I admit I had pretty severe sun damage, but I paid 10k to basically look 62. :(. Dr. Orten had beautiful results with 2 of my girlfriends, so don't discount him as a choice, just do research and compare. Good luck
