Dr. Peter Raphael, MD

I underwent surgery, and Dr. Peter Raphael was my surgeon. He provided the best results I could have hoped for, and I am incredibly grateful for his expertise and compassionate care. Everyone in his office is equally remarkable and caring.

Dr Peter Raphael is the absolute best! I am 2 weeks post-op after a lip lift, neck/face lift and laser and I am thrilled with the results I did my research - interviewed 5 Doctors and I most definitely made the right choice. I also have half a dozen friends who have been to Dr Raphael All of the staff at the American Institute for Plastic Surgery are so extremely professional. Catherine and Kim were both wonderful. They have been with AI4PS for many years & you can tell they all work well together like a well oiled machine I can’t say enough good things about Dr Raphael and his team & I couldn’t be happier with my results. Most definitely recommended!

Crystal was absolutely amazing throughout the consultation process. I made many changes along the way and asked a lot of questions, and she was always incredibly patient, responsive, and flexible. She never made me feel rushed or difficult—only supported and reassured. Her communication was clear, kind, and consistent, which made a big difference for me during such an important decision. I truly appreciate her professionalism and care. I’m moving forward with my surgery with Dr. Raphael and feel very confident in my decision.

Though I think he is a nice man, I have to give 1 star due to me going in for a osteoma removal on forehead and unfortunately the first time he “ tried to remove it” he didn’t… was left with major swelling, scar tissue, and a hard bone extending on forehead still…. I went back to get it removed again ( with Dr Raphael) revision…. and once again, 2 procedures later, I saw no improvement and no signs of him being successful. I went to another surgeon and he told me that Dr, Raphael did NOT remove it, not even close to the osteoma area, and now I have to go to Dr who took scan and stated the above) and have him remove it. I do not recommend him for osteoma removals!!! 2 years of steroid shots, two years of appts , two years and 2 surgeries and he never even removed and removed other healthy bone instead… dent in forehead now… thank god this current doctor can remove it and polish down the indention etc. ! Other doctor also stated that Dr Raphael not take a scan prior to both procedures on MY skull was VERY dangerous!!!! Stuck with a ugly large scar for NOTHING and a egg shape tissue, swelling and a hard bumpy bone!!!

Dr Raphael was referred to me by a previous patient. She expressed she was unhappy with her procedures and had to go back for corrections. She said he made it right for her. Well, she was lucky. I went in for a full face lift, cheek implants, upper bleph, lip implants upper and lower, lip lift, and CO 2 full face laser. This was not my first time to have a face lift, as I had my first in my early 50’s. I can honestly say this was a full botched job!! Only 2 procedures out of how many, 10? Went ok. The laser peel and cheek implants. To avoid taking up too much space, let’s just say, that when i went back and showed the nurses and I got about 5 minutes with Dr Raphael, they tried convincing me I looked fine. Well, i sure didn’t!! My lip lift was totally crooked and he had ruined the perfect Cupids bow I’d been born with, he tried doing something with my nose so that my smile is all crooked now too and my nose. My upper lip implant was totally a true botch job, as was the lower. He redid the upper to correct his placing lip implant on inside of my lips and crooked sideways, and said he corrected bottom implant as it is at the back instead of front of my lips, but he didn’t do anything with bottom implant. It is still in there backwards and my Cupids bow is not aligned under my nose anymore. He had to even redo my bleph and i still have scar tissue left on my upper right lid. This supposed doctor has left me butchered, mentally and emotionally damaged for life. When I went back for a 3rd and 4th time, Dr Raphael and his staff again was totally blowing me off saying „ well you sure look SO much better than you did”. I don’t understand a supposedly „professional plastic surgery clinic”, not once willing to correct this inexcusable damage to a 60’s ish grandmother trying to look prettier for herself and her husband. It deplorable that i had to have almost everything redone, and it still was Nowhere close to being corrected. They talked to me like I was way out of line. If you want to get this kind of work done, and you’ve been saving your whole life to get it done, don’t go here! They never once offered to have another partner in this clinic correct Dr R’s numerous mistakes, Or another surgeon outside their clinic. They just kept shaming me, the paying patient and retired RN, into thinking I was all wrong. I’d like a reputable plastic surgeon correct the mistakes Dr R made and if that’s not an option, refund every penny I paid. Thanks for reading.
