The office staff and Dr. Castillo are welcoming, kind and make the total experience wonderful. From the initial call to book the appointment, to the concern of the medical assistant, I felt confident that the doctor would know the exact reason for my visit. Dr. Castillo examined me and confirmed what the MRI had found. He gave me three options to proceed and I'm certain that I am on a course to being pain-free!

Castillo was great from day one. Advised I lose a substantial amount of weight prior to my procedure and was supportive every step of the way. Lost about 100 lbs and just got my hernia repair today and looking forward to recovery. I was impressed with his no nonsense straight forward approach. Had a great experience receiving a cholecystectomy with Dr. Castillo for bilary colic. My gallbladder was hyperactive with an ejection fraction of 96%. Dr. Castillo's a very straight to the point and skilled doctor, this being my first major surgery it was made a breeze. Personally my recovery was not as wretched as some people claim post op for this procedure was. I had no gallstones upon removal but the gallbladder was inflamed and covered in scar tissue. After the first initial days post op I already felt so much relief, now three months post op I feel back to normal. I now stick to a moferately low fat diet and limit fast food, excessive grease and oil, dairy, and I feel great and do not have issues with needing to go to the bathroom right after eating like some people say they do, even after eating something like pizza or a burger. If you are suffering gallbladder attacks don't wait any longer like me, get a consultation and get it out! It's not as scary as you think. Thanks to the wonderful people on the team!

Dr Castillo and his medical assistant Lisa have been extremely helpful and supportive. Recently I was diagnosed with breast cancer and was referred to doctor Castillo’s office. Dr Castillo and he’s assistant moved all procedures and test through expediently so that I could start my journey to getting better. All facilities and cancer centers that work with Dr Castillo, expressed how good of a doctor Dr Castillo is and how efficient Lisa is and easy to work with. Which put me at ease right away. I really appreciate their hard work and feel that I could not be at a better place under the circumstances. Raquel
