Waverley Surgery Center

Nestled on a residential downtown street, Waverley Surgery Center is a wonderful, hidden gem of a facility in beautiful Palo Alto! Everyone is kind, caring, patient and efficient. You can tell that the front desk staff as well as the nurses and physicians assistants are happy doing what they do and that they are working in an environment they enjoy as much as their patients do. I had a series of procedures and they all remembered me and greeted me warmly each time. My doctor, Walter Lech, is superb. Even though he is booked solid and extremely busy you always have his undivided attention and he never makes you feel rushed. He's funny, charismatic, down to earth, and highly skilled. I highly recommend everything about having a procedure done at Waverley Surgery Center.

This is the first time I used the Waverley Center. Prior to admission, admission staff contacted me about important paperwork and other details about services. Upon admission, staff reviewed the next steps in the process and pointed out important locations and resources as I awaited medical services. The admitting staff provided clear instructions and pre operation actions. Directions were comprehensive to ensure my comfort and understanding. I met with all medical staff involved in my treatment to ensure that I understood the entire process to take place. I had my surgery which was successful and got home safely.

Waverly is fantastic- easy parking under center, kind/friendly and helpful front desk staff, the BEST nurses (special call out to Nurse Amy in recovery!) and of course top notch facial surgeon Dr. Davis of Stanford & pediatric anesthesiologist Dr. Pak who took extra time ahead of surgery to answer questions. Highly recommend! If you do not like close to Palo Alto allow extra time to get there for AM surgery- coming from Pleasanton was a bit rough.

I always feel safe and know I’m in good hands when I have an appointment for a procedure at the Waverley Center. The staff are always timely, professional, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. I give them an A+. Bravo! And a sincere thank you for making a difference for patient care.

This was my fourth time at Waverley. The nurses and doctors are the best, patient. Informative, skilled and kind. My procedure was routine and low risk. The only negative was my appointment was at 11, I checked in early and at 11:40 was still waiting with no update. I finally went to the front desk. I understand delays but was disappointed that I had not been told.
