I had a really positive experience at the Stanford Plastic Surgery Clinic. One of the staff members I interacted with showed such calm, grounded, and attentive care—it honestly helped me feel safe in a space where that hasn’t always been easy. As someone who holds a lot of lived experience, including trauma and systemic barriers to care, I deeply appreciated how thoughtful and professional the team was. It wasn’t just clinical—it was human. The way I was listened to, spoken to, and treated made a lasting impression. I’m sharing this because these moments matter. They can change how people move through the world, and I hope my feedback helps affirm how important that kind of care is—for everyone, but especially for patients who might carry additional layers of vulnerability. Thank you to the Stanford team for creating that space.
