Dr. Julie Kim is an excellent plastic surgeon. She is both exacting and artistic, and takes extra care to fully understand her patients' expectations and desired outcome. She passes this understanding to her staff so everyone is in synch when it comes to the care they are providing. She also makes herself available to her patients during her off-duty hours. I cannot recommend her strongly enough.

Dr. Kim was assigned to me as part of the team that would be performing my breast surgery. Learning that I needed plastic surgery was nerve racking. I didn't know anything about her, I didn't fully understand why plastic surgery was necessary, and I didn't have time to do thorough research beforehand. As a result, I went into our first meeting with a lot of anxiety. I have to say that the moment she walked into the room and sat down, I immediately felt more at ease. She has a unique combination of professionalism and calmness that inspires confidence. She was thorough in her explanations and carefully walked me through all the possible scenarios in detail. On the day of the surgery, she reviewed everything again with my husband and me, making sure we felt informed and comfortable. Everything went great. I couldn't feel more fortunate to have had Dr. Kim and her team caring for me throughout this experience. They made a very stressful situation much easier to navigate, and I am incredibly grateful for their expertise.

Dr. Kim is an exceptional plastic surgeon whose combination of surgical precision, warmth, and professionalism made a breast cancer diagnosis, one of the most difficult periods of my life, far more manageable. She is meticulous in her work and communicates with a level of clarity that inspires confidence. The ICU nursing team even shared how much they appreciate working with her because she knows exactly what she wants and gives direct, thoughtful instructions. When I was weighing my breast reconstruction options after bilateral mastectomy, Dr. Kim went above and beyond by connecting me with a former patient who generously shared her personal experience. That conversation helped me make an informed decision about my own reconstruction, and I am deeply grateful for that level of care. She also respected my personal and professional constraints by working closely with me to schedule reconstruction surgery in the specific month I needed to accommodate my work priorities and a medical leave of absence. Throughout the process (and I am really only beginning on this journey), I have felt fully supported by her, never rushed, always heard, and always in expert hands. Patients are in exceptional hands with Dr. Kim. I am profoundly grateful for her skill, her support, and the care she brings to every interaction.

Dr. Kim is superlative and without doubt THE surgeon to have on your side if you need her services. She is detail oriented, kind, talented and down to earth- I could not have hoped for a better outcome for my breast surgery and without question would recommend Dr. Kim. I am so grateful to her.

Dr Kim was very clear and thorough with her explanation of my current issue and how to rectify it. She reviewed risks, benefits and realistic expectation of surgery. She explained the procedure and healing timeframe. My surgery will be later this year.
