He didn't rush me, and when I was finished he told me the best course of action to take to achieve my desired look. He recommended a platysmaplasty and an extended neck lift. Another surgeon I had consulted with suggested a face lift, which would not have addressed the waddle under my chin. He told me he would not use general anesthesia, whereas the other surgeon said he would, and I thought this was a huge plus. I decided to go with Dr. Barnes, and it is the best decision I could have made. From the beginning, he showed care and concern for me as a patient. He was very focused and professional, and it's apparent that he knows what he's doing; the results speak for themselves. After my surgery, he insisted on seeing me everyday to monitor my healing, and he even came in on a Saturday. He is friendly and funny, and he always made me feel at ease. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Barnes. If you want a highly experienced Newport Beach surgeon with a heart of gold, Dr. B is you man. If I could give him a 500 star rating, I would. He's simply the best!
