St. Charles Surgical Hospital

The staff is wonderful. If you have to be at a hospital this is the one to be at. They took great care of my wife during her stays for surgery. The staff was just so caring and thoughtful. Everyone from the doctors, nurses, front desk, physical therapist, PAs, food staff, cleaning staff went above and beyond to make sure we had anything we needed. I can’t tell you how much that means to my wife and me. Thank you.

This is not your typical hospital. Very clean and nice facility! Food was great. Rooms are spacious and aesthetically pleasing with a pullout bed for your caregiver. The staff was also friendly. I really enjoyed my night shift nurse Lashonta. She went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I just loved her attitude! My other nurses and nursing assistants such as Michelle, Jessica, and Cynthia (Cindy) were also amazing. I wish I could remember who the preop nurses were because they were just as great. I am incredibly happy I chose to have my double mastectomy done here. The entire staff is incredible and I promise they do their best to make the facility not feel like a hospital. 5/5 stars!

SCSH took such great care of my wife. I was so impressed by the entire staff, as well as the facilities, food, et al. I would recommend this place to anyone - with the added bonus of being in "The Big Easy." P.S. Make sure you check out the family lounge area on the second floor (see photos). Nice quiet spot if you need to grab a drink or take a phone call.

This has been such a life changing experience. The doctors, nurses, and all staff have been so great. I have been here twice and happy both times. In 2021, I came here to get repaired from a botched construction done in Oklahoma. Dr. Wise repaired the botched job, and it turned out great. I felt normal for the first time since 2015 when I was diagnosed with cancer. So after losing a lot of weight I needed some repairs again, so I came back and once again very pleased with every aspect.
