Penny is one of the kindest nurses and happy to communicate any questions you have to Dr Wendell. She checks in to see if things are good after surgery and if you have any needs. Desi is also in the front office and another great personality to assist you. If you are making a big decision such as elective surgery needs then this is THE team for you. They work together to make sure things go as smoothly as possible & that you have the result you deserve. Nurses at the surgery center told me if they were choosing a plastic surgeon they would choose Dr Wendell & that speaks volumes. They see surgeries daily and know the care and expertise he has with patients. My experience was exceptional with outpatient surgery, no complications & back to social engagements in 2 weeks. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with JJ Wendell and his exceptional team. As a parent of a 16-year-old son diagnosed with gynecomastia, this journey has been both emotional and challenging. I definitely recommend Dr. Wendel. I interviewed 3 different surgeons, and he was the most attentive and informative. I was a little hesitant to do the procedure so he told me to come in for a complimentary follow up appointment. Without even telling him why I was hesitant, he knew exactly why and allayed my fears.
