Dr. Lisa Schneider

Dr Schneider said "yes, I can do that for you" when my previous plastic surgeon said no, and 3 other surgeons would not consult with me. Needless to say I cried. I had a difficult DIEP flap reconstruction with a different plastic surgeon which left me with results I was very unhappy with and I wanted a better outcome. I wanted to be happy with my reflection and appearance, but was told no, that can't be done by the previous surgeon. I couldn't live with that answer. I found Dr Schneiders information on the Silver Linings web site and spent time looking at her reviews and credentials and sent her office a message asking for a consult. The office called, listened to my story and said " We are here to help you". This is where I started to cry, with stunned but happy tears! Dr Schneider met with me that afternoon. She sat down with me, listened to my long story, no rushing. She asked me what my "wish list" for outcomes included. I started listing all the things that I was unhappy with and wanted changed or fixed, not really thinking they were possible. She listened, with compassion and then said " not only are your wants reasonable, they are doable". We then had a deep conversation on how this would be achieved. To be honest, when I walked out of that office I couldn't really believe this was real and spent the next 2 days looking for anything that I could identify as a reason not to believe in Dr Schneider. I didn't find anything. And as of today, several months after my reconstruction with her, I still have not. My surgery and healing went exceedingly well. Today, I feel pretty and confident in my appearance, which was the goal! I don't think I will every be able to put into words how grateful I am to have found and worked with Dr Schneider. Not to mention all of her staff who were also fabulous. The entire office staff were super friendly, helpful and efficient in making this process as easy as possible. I highly recommend Dr Schneider and hope you reach out to her. Your happy ending is on the other end of that meeting. Wishing you the best!

Wow! where do I begin….Dr Schneider has been a God sent in my life. Her compassion and love for what she does is something to truly be admired. I had a double mastectomy and reconstruction surgery and from the first time I met Dr. Schneider all the way up to the time of my surgery until now, Dr. Schneider has been loving, understanding, compassionate, funny, overall a blessing to me. Thanks to Dr. Schneider and her team I am healthy. I have gained so much self love that I never had before. Every single person from the girls at the front and everyone else in between have been amazing, what an incredible team!!!! Their office is immaculate. Everything is so clean. It’s just perfect. Do I recommend Rowe Plastic Surgery? ABSOLUTELY!!!!! If I had to do this over again, I would choose Dr. Schneider 1, million times over. Thank you Doc for giving me life again and may you continue to be blessed.

From my very first consultation, I felt completely at ease with Dr. Schnieder. She is not only incredibly professional and skilled at what she does, but also very personable—truly a girls' girl who makes you feel seen, heard, and cared for. Dr. Schneider gave me my confidence back. When I first came to Dr. Lisa Schneider I had already had 3 surgeries. The first surgery was right after chemotherapy,I had a mastectomy that included the loss of 16 lymph nodes in my left armpit area, and the addition of expanders. Then after 16 rounds radiation, I traded my expanders for implants. And I also developed lymphedema in my left arm and hand. For a multitude of reasons, I had lost most of my range of motion in my left arm, the side of the radiation. My arm felt “tied down”. This of course caused me a lot of stress and discomfort. It turned out I had cording as well. The implants also felt too big and it turned out I had capsular contraction in my left breast, likely caused by the radiation. This was extremely painful. I gave myself time to heal and tried physical therapy. I decided to try surgery again. At the suggestion of my plastic surgeon at the time, I chose to try an alloderm graft and a reduction in my implants. After surgery none of the issues had been resolved, and actually felt worse. The surgeon had decided it was best to increase the implants and it caused more pain, it seemed as if this was going to be it for me. I was offered no further suggestions even though nothing had changed. Then I decided to do my own research and found out about DIEP flap breast surgery. I searched the entire United States for the best DIEP flap surgeon I could find. Along the way I found and eventually met Dr. Lisa Schneider of Rowe Plastic Surgery. It was important to me to find a surgeon I could really trust and Dr. Schneider really listened to me and earned my trust. One of the biggest deciding factors was also that she would be able to remove lymph nodes from my thigh and replace the ones I had lost, this could help my lymphedema improve or even heal it completely. After discussing my options I did end up choosing DIEP flap surgery, I opted to remove the capsular contraction and prioritize saving healthy tissue and shape over size. And I wanted range of motion back in my arm. She would try to release the cording for me as well. Dr. Schneider was able to complete all of this in one surgery, and it was truly a team effort all around, from Dr. Lisa Schneider herself, to her amazing office staff, the nurses and doctors in the operating room and even myself included. We all contributed to getting to that day and getting through that day. To them, I’m not sure if it was a bad day, a good day, just another work day, or something else, but to me, that day changed my life. Everything went perfectly. Every issue I mentioned was resolved. After about a year I went back for round two (which was planned in advance). It went perfect as well and I feel so much better. I regained full range of motion in my arms. The pain is improved. And even though they are small, I’m so much more comfortable in my skin than I was with implants. I cannot thank Dr. Lisa Schneider and her team enough. I would definitely recommend them.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Schneider at Rowe Plastic surgery. Setting up a consultation was so easy and it was free. During the consultation, I was able to express my concerns and Dr. Schneider was very optimistic about what she can do for me. The staff at the practice is also very sweet and professional. They walked me through the process of getting approved by my insurance and I was assigned someone who was responsible for maintaining the communication with my insurance and making sure I get approved. I was approved within weeks and my surgery date was set for no longer than 3 months ahead. The practice made sure to keep in contact with me between that time to make sure I was taking the necessary steps to prepare for surgery. The day of surgery, Dr. Schneider was very helpful in making sure I feel comfortable and was excited for the results she was capable of giving me. After surgery, I felt completely normal. I had little to no pain and healing was smooth sailing. All in all, I love my results and my experience with Dr. Schneider at Rowe Plastic Surgery.
