I’m so happy I saw the commercial on TV. I had been putting surgery off for a long time. My first visit was just to see if I thought Dr McCartan would Work for me. He is so friendly and made me feel very relaxed as did all the girls in the clinic. Shanon was very kind and also helped me relax. I’ve been recommending the center to a number of friends Thanks for all you have done for my feet.

Following x-rays and a detailed discussion regarding a planned non-invasive lapiplasty surgical procedure, Dr. Brant McCarten did an amazing job correcting my bunions and hammer toes with incredible professionalism, skillful techniques, and with a great bedside manner--not just once, but twice now. The end results are amazing and the experience has exceeded my expectations! Cindy managed the check in process and paperwork requirements at the front desk. She explained the purpose of each document very thoroughly before having me sign them, answered all my questions, handled insurance requirements, and was very friendly while scheduling appointments and addressing my concerns--everything quite seamless. Jessica was my nurse throughout the process (this time) and Allison the first time. Both ladies were friendly, extremely helpful, and caring. They prepped me for surgery, managed my vitals, sat through the surgery and recovery processes with me, and kept me calm while also explaining things to me so I would know what to expect. Each time, I received a post-surgical followup call the next day from my nurse to make sure my home recovery was going well. Jessica and Allison addressed my questions/concerns and explained things I could do to make myself more comfortable during recovery. Northwest Surgical presents with a very nice, welcoming environment with an amazing team of awesome caregivers who provide a worry-free experience! I whole-heartedly recommend this provider, his team, and his processes over the decades-old surgical procedures that left people with huge scares on beautiful feet. Thank you NW! Had the surgery today, bunion and toe straightening. Jessica, my nurse, was amazing from the prep call the day before to the day of care. She is a calming force and made sure I had all the info and was doing okay during the procedure. The numbing is uncomfortable but only about a minute and she is encouraging conversation and engagement so your focus is elsewhere and it works! I’m still numb so will update later but the consult and surgery were a very positive experience!

Extremely happy with my experience at the Northwest Surgery Center. Dr. McCartan and his staff are the most professional, organized, knowledgeable and warm medical group I’ve worked with. Right from the start they had my best interest at heart. Everything was explained and all my questions were answered thoroughly. The operation itself was more like a friendly visit than a medical procedure. Alison remained by my side the entire time explaining what to expect and reassuring me of how things were progressing. If your foot/feet need help, this is definitely the place to go.

I would like to highly recommend Dr. McCartan. Before I saw Dr. McCartan, I had 5 surgeries on my right foot (mostly hammertoes) from two different doctors and after surgery had to wear a boot for 6 weeks, putting no weight on it. The second doctor put screws in my toes as they kept moving outward. One of the screws broke and had to have it surgically replaced. I heard about Dr. McCartan first on the radio then on the tv. His laser procedure to correct my toes was amazing. I was awake, toes numbed of course, and walked out of his office wearing a special shoe for a couple weeks. And I could drive home. I also had him do my left foot bunion and hammer toes. Amazing the difference. I would totally recommend Dr. McCartan at Northwest Surgery Center on Mayfair Road to anyone. He is very caring and listens to my concerns. His staff is wonderful too. Wish I would have found him before my first surgery!!
