When I tell you that they are top tier! Dr. Daniel Kaufman is the BEST! I came here for an extended tummy tuck, muscle repair, lipo to my flanks, waistline and upper abdomen n he SHOWED OUT!!! I love love love my results! He is so cool, so amazing, friendly, knowledgeable. I’m telling you, if you’re looking for an amazing surgeon, he’s the one. From the time you walk in the door, they are welcoming you with open arms. His staff is freaking amazing and I’m big on customer service! I had the most amazing experience at Miami Life Cosmics Sunset. The service was impeccable. The entire team is dedicated to the best patient care. Dr.O, the real GOAT and MVP deserves the Oscars award for plastic Surgery. He’s the best. He ensures you get the desired outcome based on your height, weight and BMI. The most important factor is his honesty and transparency. He’s very informative. He walks you through the procedure from the initial stage to the End. I am so happy with my results!!! I got a tummy tuck and arm lipo with Dr Daniel Kaufman and he is the goat! King tuck is his name for sure!!! So satisfied and highly recommend him!!! I also want to shout out the coordinators and staff overall. Andrea and jasmine are awesome and all the nurses and massage therapist were great! Dr. Kaufman was amazing throughout my tummy tuck experience. From the very beginning, he was extremely informative, which I really appreciated. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood the entire process, expectations, and recovery. What stood out to me the most was how transparent and honest he was—there were no surprises, and I felt very comfortable trusting his expertise. His professionalism and attention to detail made the whole experience much smoother. I’m very grateful for his care and highly recommend him to anyone considering surgery.

I want to start by saying that if it wasn’t for Dr. Kaufman, this clinic wouldn’t stand out the way it does. His work speaks for itself, and I’m genuinely happy with my results from my mammoplasty and Lipo 360. The pricing is also very reasonable for cosmetic surgery. My overall experience with the clinic, was very stressful. Three weeks before surgery, gave me a check-list which I had to complete from my PCP (labs, mammogram, ultrasound, chest X-ray, and paperwork), which was overwhelming on short notice. I also already had my flight, Airbnb, and lymphatic massage appointments booked in advance, so I was very worried about whether I would be able to complete everything in time. I was fortunate my PCP could accommodate me, but that may not be the case for everyone. After everything was completed, I had to fax and email my documents multiple times because they said it was incomplete, even though I knew they were fully submitted. That experience already a red flag. I flew into Miami on April 1 and went in for my pre-op on April 2. When I arrived at 9AM, there was already a 2–3 hour wait, and I didn’t see Dr. Kaufman until around 12 PM. There is no structured scheduling for pre-op or post-op visits, which often leads to long wait times (2–4 hours), even when patients are already uncomfortable and fatigued after surgery. Communication was also difficult with some staff members, as they primarily spoke Spanish. I also did not receive my surgery time until the evening of April 2 via text message. April 3 was my surgery day. I was told to arrive at 11:30 AM, but I was not taken to my pre-surgery room until 1:00 PM. The room was very cold and I waited another 1.5 hours to see Dr. Kaufman. During that time, I could hear screaming, crying, and moaning from somewhere in the facility. I’m not sure exactly where it was coming from, but it sounded like it was downstairs due to an echo sound. I also heard staff running and trying to calm a patient, which made me feel anxious and nervous before my own surgery. I finally saw Dr. Kaufman. He seemed more rushed than during my pre-op visit. He took my pre-surgery photos and marked my body. We briefly spoke about faith, and he mentioned he prayed for me that day. I responded that it was Good Friday and a good day for surgery. And he was happy to hear it was Good Friday, he forgot it was. While walking to the operating room, the atmosphere felt very overwhelming. I have had two prior plastic surgeries at a different clinic, and this was the most intense experience. In the operating room, I met the anesthesiologist and later Dr. Kaufman again, who reassured me everything would be okay. The last thing I remember saying to him was, “May God bless you,” before going under anesthesia. After waking up, I was extremely cold and shivering. Another patient across from me was still asleep. I remember wearing my faja, nightgown, and a thin white blanket. I also packed a robe, but it was not put on me. I was discharged around 6:30 PM and was very relieved to see my husband with roses and mom again. My post-op was scheduled for April 4, but I wasn’t feeling well, very nauseated, could not walk, so I came in on Monday instead. Overall, Dr. Kaufman’s skill is why I would still recommend this clinic, I’m very happy with my results. However, the clinic needs improvement in organization, scheduling, cleanliness, and communication. With better management, the experience could match the quality of Dr. Kaufman’s work. If I were asked whether I would go to this clinic again, most likely not. I’m sure there are other cosmetic clinics and surgeons in Miami that could offer a better experience. I’m glad I gave Miami Life Cosmetic a try, if I hadn’t, I wouldn’t have known, and now I do.
