I was just discharged from the hospital Friday yesterday and Dr. Warner was excellent! He kept me longer for observation to make sure I was okay and safe to leave the hospital and I’m thankful for his care. He knows his stuff! I felt safe in his care. Excellent Doctor/Surgeon!

Dr. Warner repaired my umbilical hernia on Oct 24th. He explained the surgery and I felt confident going in to the OR. My results are good and his staff has been so awesome at answering my questions and making me feel cared for. I can’t say thank you enough. My post surgery appointment is on Nov 8th, and I will be able to say thank you in person!

Dr. Warner repaired my inguinal hernia in April of 2018. I had had one other hernia repair about six years ago and frankly put off this one because my previous experience had been so unpleasant. This was the exact opposite. Dr. Warner performed laparoscopic surgery through the area of my navel on a Friday morning. I was walking with little discomfort that same afternoon. By Saturday my entire pain management regimen consisted to two Motrin. I was literally back to my computer for a full day's work on Monday! It's been ten days post surgery now, and my only compliant is that I feel so good I have to be careful I don't overdo any physical activities and re-injure myself. Can't say enough about his work!

I recommend Dr. J. Sloan Warner for hernia surgery. He is a professional and confident Lexington KY vascular surgeon who got me back on my feet quickly after a laparoscopic bilateral inguinal hernia surgery in May 2016. My outpatient procedure was completed at the Lexington Clinic on Broadway in Lexington, KY. His skill as a surgeon is apparent in my speedy recovery time. I was able to stop my prescription pain medicine after 24 hours and only took Motrin for a few additional days. I was up walking the day of the surgery. I was taking long walks two days after the procedure. After two weeks my laparoscopic incisions mostly healed and I felt 100% (but was still taking it easy per doctor’s orders). I reviewed Dr. Warner’s background and felt he had the skills needed to perform my procedure competently – he is experienced at repairing aortic aneurysms, which is considerably more difficult and complex then my inguinal hernia procedure. Dr. Warner’s bedside manner is professional, direct, and friendly – I enjoyed meeting with him before and after my operation.

Dr Warner took his time to explain a procedure that I needed and he made sure I understood every aspect. I have had Dr Warner do other procedures on me and I have always been very happy with the results and the time he has taken.
