I am very happy and impressed by the outcome of my upper blepharoplasty that I had done at the U.K. hospital by Dr. Amit Patel. My hooded eyelids made reading difficult, especially while working on my work computer. Because of this procedure, my life has improved tremendously! Dr.Patel recommended that I take a visual field test, which proved beneficial because insurance paid for my procedure. My friends asked if I had any discomfort during the healing process. When I first had my septoplasty done by another ENT, I was left functionally compromised. The first surgeon, while perhaps competent in basic anatomy, was essentially a plumber, like Mario— I went through the surgery and still couldn't breathe through my nose. It was worse than before. ​Then I found Dr. Patel. ​Dr. Patel is not a plumber; he is a Michelangelo. Where the previous surgeon saw bone and cartilage, Dr. Patel saw a sculpture. He approached my revision as a genuine act of artistic correction. He expertly navigated the scar tissue and anatomical mistakes left by the first procedure, demonstrating a level of precision that is simply unmatched. ​The entire experience—from the detailed pre-operative consultations where he patiently explained the complexities of the revision, to the recovery process—was world-class. The functional breathing issues are completely resolved, and the aesthetic result is phenomenal. It is not just "fixed"; my nose works better than I ever imagined a nose could. ​If you are seeking any facial procedure, especially a complex revision after a failed surgery, do not waste time elsewhere. Dr. Patel is a brilliant surgeon of the highest caliber. Five stars are not enough.

Dr Patel and his team were truly amazing! I have suffered from allergy issues for years and my deviated septum impacted my quality of life. I also suffer from EOE which can impact breathing. I took everything into consideration when thinking through a possible surgery for my deviated septum. I didn’t want to pick a doctor lightly and was referred to Dr Patel by several friends and colleagues. Making an appointment was the first step and as soon as I met Dr Patel, I knew the wait would be worth it in the end. Fast forward to getting the call to plan the surgery and I was nervous, but he put me at ease and my husband before, during, and after the surgery. With only a few days of staying in bed, I felt amazing and knew that it would only get better. Now 5 months in, I sleep better, feel more refreshed, and my breathing is so much better.

From my first meeting with Dr Patel I knew I could trust him with anything. He was kind, patient, and was able to answer any questions I had. Dr Patel performed a functional upper blepharoplasty and brow lift that was performed in the office. I had absolutely no reservations about having it done in the office. Again, I was that confident in his abilities. I only had a Valium before the procedure and felt nothing during. I was totally awake and it was pain free. Afterwards I can honestly say it was such a simple recovery. I had no pain through it all. I only wish I had done it sooner. Insurance paid for everything which was a great plus! I cannot believe how much my vision has improved. Dr Patel is absolutely the best! I could not be happier. Now I’m like, what else can we do.
