Lakewood Ranch Medical Center

My experience was pretty good. My check-in went smooth. The nurse that escorted me to my area was very pleasant and the two nurses both named Jen who prepped me for my procedures we’re both very professional, attentive, kind and warm. The doctor was very professional and explained everything to me. Ask if I had questions actively listened and was very concise with explanation of what was to happen and also with the results. The anesthesiologist even stopped by to explain his part in the procedures and was very attentive. After the procedure, I had a male nurse; he was very nice we discussed being from New York. It was an overall very pleasant experience.

Yesterday I spent the entire day at Lakewood Ranch Hospital, and I truly felt cared for every step of the way. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive. A special thank you to Tony, my nurse — he was so warm, patient, and professional. You could tell he genuinely cares about his patients. And Dr. Mercury… I could truly feel that he has a big heart and real compassion. He didn’t want to discharge me until he was absolutely sure everything was okay with me. That meant so much. It made me feel safe and respected. In moments when you feel vulnerable, kindness and compassion make all the difference — and I experienced both here. Thank you for taking such good care of me. 🤍

At a time in our family that we needed your professionalism, compassion, and guidance. You treated our Mother and my family with care and compassion. I can’t thank the 3rd floor rm 313 for last week enough. Such a vulnerable time for my siblings and I, you all made so much better. I’m sorry about the names because truly each nurse on duty, the manager, Maritza at night was a pleasure to leave my mother with. Thank you from the Orta family. ❤️ 10/10. The woman’s center was amazing as well. That third floor really gave us the respect she deserved. I’m not rich enough to give you compensation or I would. God do I give you all the blessings I can. Dr. Mr & Mrs Harper did a great job with her. Thank you all. I’ll never forget this time you all put us at ease with your patience, respect, and dignity. ❤️ 🕊️

I get nervous going to an ER. I hadn’t been to Lakewood Ranch Hospital before but because of my past experience with a couple of hospitals where the medical team were so mean, so cold, and you can tell they cared more about getting their paycheck than you were just one of the things that made me nervous to come in yesterday. But not here, that was not the experience at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center ER! Absolutely everyone from check in, to paperwork, to blood work, imaging and everyone in between was absolutely so nice. It was the best team of people yesterday. They made me feel so comfortable. Everyone talked to me like they knew me, and were so friendly! They were all so attentive, communicative, and caring! Also, Jonathan Garcia was one of the docs on the floor yesterday and he was mine and I can’t say enough about him. Dr.Jonathan, if you get a chance to read this, thank you so much for being such a kind and caring doctor and human. Thank you for making me feel heard, you listened to every single word I had to say and every worry I expressed! Thank you for ruling all the things out and being on top of it all. You were made for the ER! I am so incredibly grateful for my experience yesterday. Kind, caring and attentive doctors like you make a place that feels so vulnerable a little better!

I recently underwent a procedure at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center and it was by far the best experience I've had and Ive had a lot of surgeries. From getting help at the front desk to a gentleman happily escorting my daughter and I to the surgery area. The receptionist had a great personality and turned a simple phone call to let the surgical team know I was ready into something funny that had me laughing all the way to my bed. The nurses were sweet, caring, and genuine. You could tell they all enjoyed what they were doing and the team they were working with. The nurse that set my IV was brilliant. She stuck me 1 time, I didnt feel a thing I was even watching and didnt realize she was done! My veins roll so I'm used to being the human pin cushion ha ha! Dr. Matheus is awesome and to her team of nurses, and to the anesthesiologist team, who took care of me on May 5th I would just like to say Thank you so very much. You guys made everything so easy. Special thanks to the "ninja" nurse in the recovery area who was helping me. What a great guy! What a GREAT TEAM!
