Dr Mary Lester took care of my reconstruction after a scary breast cancer diagnosis. I interviewed several surgeons, but when I met her, I knew I was in good hands. Her professional, yet warm, friendly, and funny personality make you want to be best friends with her. She is an expert in the field of Diep flap reconstruction, and I refer other women going through a breast cancer diagnosis to her all the time. She is simply the very best. Dr. Mary Lester is the absolute best! She has amazing bed side manners and is very thorough. My husband was a very hard case, but she succeeded all expectations. "He has one of the best looking skin grafts I have ever seen" as quoted by multiple medical professionals. She eased all of our worries by explaining the entire procedure and what to expect. I will forever be grateful for her and her dedication to her career.

Dr. Lester was amazing. My husband had a difficult case. She and her staff were very thorough and made sure we understood everything. Her bedside manner is exceptional. She did everything she could to make sure we were taken care of. I cannot stress enough how wonderful she is before and after surgery!

Dr Lester and her staff have been wonderful. She doesn't sugar coat things and tell me things that aren't reality. She has been upfront and honest with my expectations. Her bedside manners are top notch and I would recommend her to anyone All in all I'm totally satisfied with her and her colleagues.

Dr. Lester lied to me. She said I could go home after surgery then she changed her mind and said I had to go to a medical facility for a week or so. This was on the same day the surgery was scheduled for. she said I could sign an agreement to go basically to a nursing home or she wouldn’t operate on me. I went home and haven’t been back. I highly recommend choosing a different doctor. How could she ever be trusted after that. I have had several different surgeries before and I heal a lot quicker at home than any other place. Also she had a nasty attitude. Not to mention I had to travel 3 hours each way to be treated like that.
