Dr Melissa Meldrum is an artist. She did both my lower and upper lids. I look and feel like a different person. There is not a question she thought was unnecessary and she is attentive and skilled beyond words. I have recommended their physicians to everyone because although she is retiring I am sure she will not have anyone below her expertise. She is a GEM!!!!

I had a gf that had an upper and lower blepharoplasty and her eyes turned out beautiful! So, I asked her where she got her eyes done? She told me Dr. Melissa Meldrum. So, of course I had to call and see if Dr. Meldrum would do my blephroplasties too! Dr Melissa Meldrum agreed to do my upper bleph but not my lower bleph bc she said that I didn't need the lower bleph yet. So, I scheduled my upper blepharoplasty surgery and had to wait 6 months. Gosh, am I glad I waited! My eyes turned out BEAUTIFUL! If you have to do the wait. Do the wait! She's worth it!

I recently had eye lift surgery very successful I might add. I now find myself searching for my glasses because I don't need them as much. As I was sitting on the coach last night, I kept seeing something above my eye. I finally figured out it was my eyebrow Can't remember ever seeing that before! Ok - let me start by saying my eyes look wonderful & Dr Meldrum is very nice & I would give 5 stars for that. However - future patients BEWARE. The cost of the surgery here is ASTRONOMICAL compared to other places. When you are told your insurance will "cover" the cost of the surgery, do your due diligence & find out the final cost. For everything, Dr Meldrum, the anesthesiologist, the surgical center fees......Depending on your insurance plan, that "coverage" may still cost you an arm & a leg. You will pay your deductible, any % (so if you have 80/20, you will pay 20% after you pay the deductible) Get a 2nd (& even a 3rd) opinion/cost from other great places in town. My surgery ended up being $8000 out of pocket AFTER billing insurance. I found out I could have had the same surgery at PSA in the Amway for far less without any insurance involved. I mistakenly thought that if I didn't use the insurance it would be more money so that is on me, When my own eye Dr office found out what I paid they were stunned. They said that they have always sent patients to this office & had no idea that it cost. that much. Just want to give a heads up to others so you don't make the same mistake I did. If you have Medicare or another insurance that picks up your entire tab you are fine. If not, check your options.
