Dr.Pardun had done my breast reduction in Feb of 2025. I felt he took his time to answer my questions and had great bedside manners. He did a great job even though it was done through insurance. I ended up having complications no fault of the drs just how my body reacted to stitches. He responded to any concerns I had quickly and was very patient. My breast still look good even with issues I did have. He is a great Dr.

He did a great job on my breast reconstruction. I couldn’t be happier with the results.

I was a patient of Dr. Pardun while a Kaiser member. I had breast reconstruction surgery twice with Dr. Pardun after a mastectomy. He had a very pleasant bedside manner, but the outcome of both my surgeries was disappointing and deflating. After the first surgery, the reconstructed breast was inches below the other breast. I understand that perfect symmetry is not possible, but I did not anticipate that one breast would be about 2-3 inches below the other. Upon my request to have another surgery in hopes that I would have a satisfactory outcome, Dr. Pardun agreed. While the results of the second surgery was better, it was disappointingly only a marginal improvement. My left breast was lifted, but it still was obviously lower than the other breast. When I addressed this with Dr. Pardun, he told me that he couldn’t do anything more. I was stunned. When I got a 2nd opinion from the other Kaiser Permanente surgeon, she downplayed my observation and concern and sided with Dr.Pardun. In my nativete, I believed that I had to live with the embarrassment of this deformity. I am not sure if Dr.Pardun, under Kaiser guidelines, could not perform another surgery or whether he didn’t want to come under professional scrutiny for the poor outcome of the two surgeries he’d already done. What I do know after having breast cancer and all the attending emotions of fear, grief, and a sense of loss of a part of my feminine identity, the emotional backlash was compounded by Dr. Pardun’s refusal to do anything further to correct his failure to bring my body back to a semblance of normalcy.
