I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone at the Birthing Center- Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and the NICU staff at CRMC. You were all truly amazing. As a first-time mom, my experience with another hospital was alarming and discouraging, which ultimately led my husband and me to seek a second opinion at CRMC—and wow, what a difference. The level of care we received was beyond exceptional! Your team is made up of true professionals who genuinely listen, show empathy, and clearly love what they do. From the nurses to the residents, doctors, anesthesiologists, and surgeons—every single person who was part of my birthing journey made me feel heard, safe, and supported. Because of all of you, I can honestly say I had the best possible first-time experience entering motherhood. I’ll never forget that my son came into the world listening to Metallica (my request!) while I was in surgery. Instead of feeling scared, I felt ready—nervous, of course—but completely safe, knowing I was in the hands of such an incredible team. The care and attention you’ve shown my child have been just as equally amazing. Watching the nurses care for the babies, it’s clear they truly enjoy what they do, and that makes all the difference. From the bottom of our hearts, my husband and I thank you, CRMC, for providing such top-tier care.

This review is specifically for RN AARON. 11/26/25 he was working the 2nd floor in the Blue Zone. He was absolutely amazing, his bedside manners were great and he was very kind, gentle and helpful with my mom and whoever visited her. Aaron was also very informative and took the time to truly understand my moms needs and wants. Aaron, my family and I appreciate you so much! Hospitals need more people like you, we will never forget you, may God bless you the way you bless those who cross your path. -Ashley

I have called over 7 times to try and get a hold of my loved one’s nurse and I’m either told “nurse is busy right now” “the nurse said they would call if they had new info” or I’m out on hold for hours and never answered OR was told my loved one’s nurse is busy and would call back. They never did! I haven’t been able to get a hold of a nurse AT ALL NOT ONE TIME! I’m in another state and would love to hear how my loved one’s is doing I’m on the list to be given information. I also work in healthcare and this isn’t how you treat family’s

I took my daughter CRMC at 0600 because she woke up screaming in pain and after explaining all her symptoms to a telehealth Dr they said to take her in. When we got there they said because she was over 18 I couldn't go in with her, even though I'm her caregiver (she's been chronically ill she was a teenager) I said fine, Covid protocols, I get it, so I went and waited in my car. (Later I watched a massive kick out happen because they let a bunch of guests in after me, so much for protocol) We were texting, but it was difficult for her given the amount of pain she was in, but she tried to keep me up to date. They gave her pain meds and took blood but the Nurse Practitioner wanted to discharge after a couple hours, even though her WBC was high and she was still in pain. It was an acute pain in her abdomen and when my daughter asked about a scan she told her "you had one 9 months ago you don't need another." I told my daughter to ask for the supervising physician and that if they denied her seeing them she wanted it documented in her chart that she asked and was denied and why. The NP was somewhere else so she told that to the RN who said she "couldn't document it" but would tell the NP. Low and behold shortly after that they start her on antibiotics for the high WBC and she's getting an abdominal scan. And what do they find? An 8cm tumor on her ovary crushing the surrounding organs. By the time this all comes about it's nearly 7pm, shift change, and the NP dips out without another follow up and my daughter waits. She hears a night shift RN come in and say "we have to get rid of all these people in the waiting room", we've been there 14hrs at this point. Another couple hours pass and she texts me that she's being discharged. Nothing from a Dr. Or that long gone NP, just a discharge RN telling her to sign papers and follow up with HER Dr. When I picked her up she said she was sorry she didn't push more for them to properly treat her and of course I told her she had nothing to apologize for, I was sorry for the experience she had, she shouldn't have had to threaten that NP with accountability to get her to do her job. Community Health Systems is a mess, they excuse bad physician (and NP apparently) behavior, mistreat the rest of their staff and it shows. And someone is going to show up on here and say we're so sorry to hear about your experience, please reach out...etc. well you know what? We did, we took the survey, we did the things, and nothing changes. Well nothing except the fact that we'll be changing to Saint Agnes for our medical care when needed. Community is not the only healthcare system in town as much as they'd like everyone to think they are, there are options and for anyone reading this I suggest you try those first.
