I had breast implants put in about 40 years ago. They had hardened and I was often getting sick with infections. I found out they had ruptured and needed to be extracted . I started calling plastic surgeons and they would not even consider filing insurance for the procedure. I came across Dr. Southard’s info and was impressed. I called for an appt and and was able to get one soon. Her office staff was friendly and always quickly returned calls. At my first appt, Dr. Southard advised that she would file it with insurance, but couldn’t guarantee they would pay until after the surgery. She was very upfront about that and how my breasts would look after taking the implants out. The surgery went well and I had virtually no pain. After the surgery, the pathology report indicated that there was something in there that was affecting my immune system. I haven’t felt this good in several years and am so thankful I found Dr. Southard. I have no hesitation recommending her to anyone. I think she’s fabulous!

My encounter with Dr. Southard began after needing complete reconstruction following a bilateral Mastectomy and Radiation therapy. Not an easy thing to correct. I cannot give enough stars or praise for her expertise, knowledge and skills. Her compassion and dedication for achieving the best possible results is truly remarkable. Her staff is also courteous, efficient and caring. My only regret is not meeting Dr Southard sooner. If I could give a million star rating I would. Melinda P.

Dr. Southard recently removed my ruptured breast implants. She was so professional and very easy to talk with- when explaining the procedure. She made me feel very comfortable with the surgery and answered all my questions and concerns. Her staff was wonderful as well and very helpful. I cannot say enough good things about her. Would highly recommend her.

I used Dr Southard for reconstruction after my double mastectomy and I am SO thankful I did! I truly felt like she had my best interest in mind and I trusted her expertise. I was extremely nervous about the change in my body after my surgery but with Dr Southard’s care and attention to detail and absolute skill/expertise, I am thrilled with how things look and I feel like myself. My reconstruction looks very natural and my scars are so minimal you would have to be looking for them to see them. I would recommend Dr Southard 1000%!!!
