If you’re reading this review because you’re researching plastic surgeons, seriously stop at this one and go see Dr. McLaughin. You will not regret it. I truly wish I could award her, and her practice, more than 5 stars. For the staff: The receptionist called me by name when walking in the front door every time, and that in itself was a step above the rest. Alexa, Dr. Mclaughlin’s nurse, made you feel like her best friend and exudes the confidence you want to see in your provider when electing to have surgery. The anesthesiologist had one-on-one time with me before my procedure and made sure I had no concerns and put my nerves at ease. Even down to the pre-op paperwork, everything was easy and stress-free. For Dr. McLaughlin: I have never felt more comfortable around someone in my life. Not only was she super knowledgeable (of course) she wanted to know the “why” behind my requests - which made the process feel more like a human connection rather than a transactional one. Not the mention, she’s by far the coolest woman I’ve ever met. The best thing about this experience, is the results were also perfect but it doesn’t even seem like the most important part after witnessing the most professional people doing what they clearly love to do. I have more confidence than I did pre-motherhood, and I cannot thank Dr. McLaughlin enough for giving me my life back.
