Midwest Hand Surgery

As most people my age with several kids, I have had my share of interaction with doctors and hospitals. I can honestly say that I have never had such a positive experience before. Beginning with my initial visit and continuing through many visits and a couple of surgeries, everyone in this office was friendly, efficient and wonderful to deal with. Even after my discharge, I have had several interactions with the office staff related to insurance matters and the response, efficiency and cooperation has been beyond outstanding. Awesome job all around.

I had a terrible accident and was sent to the ER the next day I had surgery on my finger and Dr. Barakat performed a surgery on my index finger. He did a splendid job! Because I barely see the scar. The ladies in physical therapy Sharon, Laura and Wendy are amazing! They really pushed me and after a successful 13 weeks I finally have movement in my finger. They’re the sweetest therapists I ever had and I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much to everyone in this department. I am very happy with my results thanks to all of you I mentioned.

Dr. Barakat is the best! He is so friendly and caring and all the staff are wonderful! I had an unfortunate injury and Dr. Barakat repaired 4 severed tendons in my hand. Five months later with many therapy sessions I received the graduation handshake. So very thankful and grateful for the care I received!

The staff at this facility are very professional. The doctor did an excellent job repairing a cut tendon, explaining everything along the way. The therapist at this facility are the best. They are very thorough and informative on the various treatments and exercises being used. And if that's not enough they are super sweet

Provided all the necessary documentation and insurance to make an appointment and then they wanted information from the previous visit to a different doctor. We explained that we did not have that at this time can we bring it to our appointment? Nope !!!! Immediately called Northwestern hand specialist in Warrenville and got right in. Extremely rude staff
