Dr. Saad Ahmad is an excellent Retina Specialist doctor. He is patient, knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain everything clearly. He made me feel comfortable throughout the entire visit and never rushed the appointment. The staff was friendly and the office was well run. I truly felt cared for and would highly recommend Dr. Saad Ahmad to anyone looking for quality eye care.

The only issue I had was contacting the prescription department. I left several messages and had to contact Devin. For my prescriptions refills. She was very helpful and got it completed in minutes. In a short time I had my prescriptions from Walgreens. She's wonderful. 💐

I don’t leave negative reviews lightly, but this experience warrants one. In my 47 years, I have never encountered a medical practice this disorganized and unresponsive. The office openly states that patients should expect up to a two-hour wait past their appointment time, which unfortunately aligns with reality, ultimately spending less than a minute with the actual doctor. Communication is the most concerning issue. While the front desk answers calls and transfers you promptly, no one answers their direct lines, returns voicemails, or responds to portal messages. On one occasion alone, I called seven times and was only able to reach a staff member once. We had a detailed conversation about a prescription refill, and I was assured it would be sent, it was, but incorrectly. Even my pharmacy has had an awful time getting a hold of this practice. At this point, I have canceled all future appointments and found a new specialist. In my first visit a the new practice, I learned more than I did in over a year of treatment at Kovach. NOT to mention, that I learned that in my year+ of treatment through Kovach has produced NO improvement to my eyes. WHY didn't we alter my course? Why was I always told "looks good," when clearly there was NO improvement? This level of disorganization and lack of follow-through is not what patients should expect from a medical provider. I will not be returning and would strongly encourage others to consider alternative options before becoming a patient here.

Do yourself a favor and read this entire review. I strongly recommend avoiding this practice- our experience here was truly disturbing. My wife’s appointment was January 12th at 8:45am. The front desk was extremely rude to my wife(I was told her name was Jacklyn). Phone service rep was rude as well(Janet), our appointment was at 8:45am, by 10:10am, Dr. Gradianu hadn’t even entered our room. Employees kept saying they were stuck in traffic and running late to arrive- this was 90 minutes after our scheduled appointment time. A very unprofessional assistant wearing a black hoody in clinic and named Terry remarked “ you can leave” when we stated this was an inconvenience. When we called in advance to ask about pricing, the call center was extremely rude. Then when we first arrived, the morning of our appointment, Jacklyn at the front desk gave us attitude for not knowing the doors were not unlocked yet when we tried to enter. She then tried to deny my wife care becuase her drivers license was expired and offered no proactive assistance to try and remedy the situation. She smugly said “you’ll have to come back another time.” We drove almost an hour there with our 18 month old and refused to take no for an answer so Another employee stepped in and said they would take us. Jacklyn then walked to the back and proceeded to scream at the top of her lungs and audibly cry about her interaction with us. It was extremely unprofessional and disturbing to be alienated in that way by an employee at a health care facility. A tech worked up my wife and she was the only person in that entire office with proper bedside manner/patient care skills- she was very pleasant. However again, our appointment was at 8:45am and by 10:10am the doctor was still nowhere in sight and seemed to have not even arrived at the clinic yet despite our appointment being 1.5 hours before that. The employee named Terry was very unprofessional by wearing a black hoody in a clinic? He then rudely said “you can go” when we complained. This entire office failed the patient from top to bottom and treated us as if we should apologize? I strongly recommend going anywhere else. The front desk staff and the call center gave us their word we will not be charged for any part of this visit so we will be keeping a close eye on that. We also reported this exact review to the optometrist who referred us to this office from Vision Works. We hope this helps them in their future referral decisions.

I am writing to express significant concerns regarding my experiences at this clinic, specifically during appointments with an ophthalmologist. On two separate occasions, I endured prolonged wait times that severely impacted my schedule and overall patient experience. During both visits, I spent approximately two hours in the waiting room before being seen. While I understand that delays can occur, consistently extended waits of this nature strongly suggest an issue with appointment scheduling and patient load management. It gives the unfortunate impression that the clinic's priority leans towards maximizing patient volume rather than ensuring timely and considerate service. The disparity between the waiting time and the actual consultation length was particularly striking. My initial interaction with the ophthalmologist, following a two-hour wait, lasted approximately 25-30 minutes. However, during my subsequent visit, despite enduring a similarly long wait, the consultation with the doctor was remarkably brief, lasting only about five minutes. What is more concerning is that the consultation fee remained identical for both appointments, despite the drastic difference in the time and attention provided by the ophthalmologist. This raises questions about the value proposition for patients and the transparency of billing practices.Furthermore, I was quite taken aback by the ophthalmologist's demeanor during both visits. There was a notable lack of direct eye contact. Ironic for an eye specialist.
