Dr. Moten is wonderful! He is easy to talk to and caring! Jimmy, his PA, is also amazing! I was in a lot of pain on a Friday and I called in. Jimmy called me back immediately and kept in contact throughout the day to make sure I had what I needed to get through the weekend. I had another issue where I needed an immediate MRI. The staff went out of their way to call every facility nearby until I got an appointment. Very nice people all around! I would absolutely recommend Illinois Pain & Spine Institute!

I have been a patient of Dr. Chadi Yaccub for several years now. I have degenerative disc disease, cervical and lumbar. We tried several injections and ablations, but the relief did not seem to last. In May of this year I received the spinal stimulator and everyday I am achieving 50-60% relief at minimum. I am very grateful for all that the doctors and staff have done for me. The staff and PA’S are incredible. They are polite kind and efficient. You are always greeted with a smile and they go out of their way to accommodate all your needs. I’m 54 and have had chronic pain with this for over 20 years and I finally can go through an entire day practically pain free, for hours at a time. They have given me my life back.

I've been seeing Dr. Moten, at Illinois Pain and Spine institute, for a few months now. He's an amazing doctor with great bedside manner. He explains things in detail. I'm waiting for the approval from my insurance on a signal cord stimulator and the staff is great at communicating with me about everything.

Had to wait for an hour and half for the doctor. Once he arrived it was a quick checkup. I felt like the doctor just rushed through the examination. He was very nice though.

Just a bad experience overall. I was actually encouraged by the front desk person to leave a negative review if I was dissatisfied. So here it is ... Doctors had confusion about when the trial was over. Dr. Moten was confused day of - thinking he was putting in a permanent . That scared me. Maybe that's why the lead removal days got screwed up by them. I think my doctor went on vacation or something after the implant trial day...so 7 days later he was unavailable...so they set the trial for 9 days. I found out on day 5 that had changed. No phone call about appointment change. Even the reps were confused. Had my trial taken out on day 7 by Steve the PA because the new doctor assigned - Dr. Yaacoub ( because Dr Moten was unable to take out the trial) was behind and I would have to wait a couple hours after my scheduled appointment if I wanted Dr. Y to take out the leads. That was crazy. I Was basically rushed out of there when they realized the SCS didn't work for me. Even went in for an X-ray on day 5-- no mention of a follow up, no treatment plan. Nothing. Very dissatisfied. Had a failed Nevro SCS implant trial... Never heard from them again. And was no longer a priority, and probably labeled a difficult person. It's all about money over care at the Illinois spine institute.
