Rozzelle Arlene MD

Dr Rozzelle has done surgery on 2 of my kids. My daughter had crainio vault reconstruction at 8 mos, which turned out beautifully. She has done 2 surgeries so far on my son for a bilateral cleft lip & palate. She is skilled at what she does. Dr Rozzelle takes her patients care very seriously. Their health and safety is a concern for her. I feel like she will do everything in her power to make sure our kids medical needs are addressed. She is a perfectionist & it shows in the quality of care she provides her patients. She’ll even get down on a child’s level to explain a procedure to them in a way they can understand. Her office staff have been helpful over the years (so far we’ve worked with her for 7 1/2 years. We have another decade to go). Her assistant, Peggy, is particularly helpful. Dr Rozzelle is definitely a doctor you want on your child’s team.

Dr rozzelle did a 8 hr reconstruction surgery on my son head when he was 2 yr old. When I tell u I was a nervous wreck but dr insured me he would be fine and sure enough it was a success. He’s 4 now and u can’t even tell he was cut from ear to ear. It was a long healing process but I thank god for such a gifted surgeon like her. I recommend her she is awesome.

This amazing woman fixed my baby up 13 years ago and still remembers her face to this day, and the memories of when she first came to her as a newborn. We are truly blessed to know her and her fantastic assistant and everyone here at Children's Hospital of Michigan. I am ever so grateful for their talents, care, and pure hearts. May God bless them abundantly.

If I could give negative stars, I would. We met with her for the first time yesterday for my son. She took maybe 1 minute to examine him then said he needs a CT. As soon as she said he needed that, she left the room. My husband and I looked at each other like, what just happened?! We were given no opportunity to ask any questions. The receptionist nicely tried to see if they could do the CT right then, but there was going to be a wait, which I would have expected! No one bothered to ask us if we were able to stay, which unfortunately, we couldn't. She was in our room for less than 5 minutes, realistically, I would say it was more like 3 minutes. We left the office pretty mad. I ended up calling the office back to voice my frustration. I got a call back from the doctor the next day and the way she talked to me, angered me even more. It didn't seem like she knew how to explain what is going on with my son OR she just didn't care. She lacks compassion, which if you are going to be a pediatric doctor, you need to have more of. She was very rushed and disorganized. Once we get the CT results, we will be done with seeing her and will find someone who cares.

Dr. Rozelle took all of 45 seconds to examine my son and talk to us. Shes like a robot there to just get patients in and out. Always in a rush to get to the next patient. Horrible bedside manner as well. Today was our second time with her and each time we leave so disappointed with her. I would never recommend her to anyone. Beware of this one !
