Let me just start by saying . . . if you're on the fence about having Dr. Chiodo and his team perform your surgery, don't wait another minute BOOK IT! Every part of the process with Dr. Chiodo and his team blew me away. From start to finish I was met with care and patience. I recently had an upper blepharoplasty, what I considered to be a fairly minor procedure, but I was made to feel just as important as if I was having a full facelift. Dawn was quick to respond to my inquiry and we were able to get a lot handled via text - which was incredibly convenient. She made the whole process so simple. Since I was traveling to Texas for the procedure, Dr. Chiodo and I met via FaceTime more than once to discuss the procedure and the expectations. It could not have been more straightforward. When the day of surgery arrived, I felt nothing but ease and excitement. As an abnormally anxious person, let me just say, that is a rare feeling for me. But his entire staff was so kind and warm it felt like they truly cared about making me comfortable. Surgery could not have gone more smoothly. I left feeling great! I had such minimal bruising that people couldn't believe I had just had surgery. I spent a few extra days in Dallas before heading home. Dr. Chiodo and his team checked in multiple times and were always available. A week later we had a virtual follow-up and he walked me through removing the stitches myself. It was so easy. The results are incredible. It was 100% one of the best decisions I've made for myself. This was definitely just my FIRST surgery with Dr. Chiodo and his team.

My wife had an upper/lower eyelid lift and face/neck lift with Dr. Michael Chiodo, and the experience she had was exceptional. Dr. Chiodo is incredibly skilled, kind, and delivers natural, beautiful results. Dawn, the surgery coordinator, made everything before surgery smooth and stress-free. My post-surgery nurses were wonderful: Diana – warm, attentive, and reassuring. Tammy – caring, confident, and brought good humor that helped me relax. Diane – gentle, compassionate, and explained everything clearly. Erica – amazing with follow-up care and so supportive during healing. Staying at the attached Cloister hospital/hotel made recovery peaceful and convenient. Highly recommend Dr. Chiodo and his entire team—they’re talented, compassionate, and truly the best.

Dr. Chiodo and his team have been nothing but amazing to work with! Like most people I visited with several plastic surgeons before making my decision. Beside his obvious skills as a surgeon, I really appreciated his artistic vision to keep me looking natural. My husband has been pleased with him as well. When we were driving away from our first visit with Dr. Michael Chiodo, he turned to me and said he is just one cool guy! I will add photos as things progress.

Dr. Chiodo is an awesome doctor and extremely talented surgeon. I had a facelift, neck lift, fat transfer and had my eyelids done by the doctor. My face looks amazing and I look much younger. He fixed a bad scar from an old spider bite I had on the side of my face with fat transferred from my thigh. He did a revision of an old facelift that I had gotten 10 years ago and fixed the scars that were left from that procedure. I have no visible scarring at all. Dr. Chiodo did an incredible job. He’s got a very warm and caring personality and bedside manner. I knew I was in good hands, and I felt safe and well taken care of all the way through the process. It’s been 8 weeks since my surgery and I’ve never looked better. My skin is almost flawless. I’m currently receiving the Morpheus 8, and I’m anticipating even more radiant skin after the completion of these treatments. Dr. Chiodo will be the doctor I’ll go to for any future cosmetic needs. I trust him completely. I also received Botox, post surgery. He’s a skilled surgeon, a great doctor and he has an awesome staff. I HIGHLY recommend.

I chose Dr. Chiado after consulting with two other surgeons because he made me feel relaxed and reassured me that my procedure, an upper blepharoplasty, was simple. This was my first plastic surgery, and I was nervous, but the day of surgery (the Monday before Thanksgiving) went smoothly. The nurses, staff, and anesthesiologist were all wonderful, and I experienced no pain. Unfortunately, my post-op experience was very different. The Wednesday after surgery, I received a text from his office manager, Dawn, informing me that Dr. Chiado would not be able to attend my Monday appointment to remove my stitches, and that she would do it instead. My only interactions with her up to that point had been scheduling and payment, so I was surprised that she would be handling medical follow-up. When I asked if Dr. Chiado could simply move me to Tuesday, I was told waiting too long could risk infection. At that point, I felt like I was begging to have the surgeon who performed my procedure complete the job. Later, I was told another doctor would handle my post-op visit and stitch removal. I was initially thankful—until I learned that this was a fellow who had just graduated in May. I don’t mind a fellow removing stitches, but I did expect the surgeon I paid for to evaluate his own work and reassure me I was healing properly. After voicing my concerns, I was finally scheduled with Dr. Chiado on Monday. At that appointment, however, his demeanor was very different from my consultation. He seemed rushed, offered little reassurance unless I specifically asked, and did not use numbing cream for stitch removal (which I later learned is common). He also didn’t provide a mirror—I had to use my phone camera to check my eyes myself. My one-month follow-up was another frustration. It was rescheduled four times, one due to weather, but then I was told the next available would be April—five months after my original appointment. Only after I complained was I squeezed in “between surgeries.” This made me feel like established patients were a low priority compared to new ones. At that visit, he was friendlier again, closer to the demeanor he had at my consultation. I mentioned a concern about my left eye and he said we would recheck in August. By my August check-up, history repeated itself—another cancellation due to “personal reasons.” I understand that emergencies happen, but repeated cancellations left me feeling undervalued as a patient and wishing I had chosen a different surgeon. The same reason was given for the cancellation several times. I don’t believe I need to know a doctor’s personal business, very unprofessional. Other issues added to my frustration: • Prescriptions were mishandled. I had to call multiple times, and what I received didn’t match the list I was originally given (different medications and doses). When I asked, my concerns were brushed off. • After surgery, Dr. Chiado did not update my mom as promised, which added unnecessary stress for her. She was just left in the waiting room. Overall, I started this process feeling confident, but the lack of consistency, professionalism, and follow-through left me disappointed. I wanted a surgeon who would be with me throughout the entire process—not just the day of surgery or once he was paid. While the procedure itself was decent, I cannot say with confidence that I would recommend him based on my full experience. I now have another appointment with a facial plastic surgeon to fix the scar from this procedure because this doctor kept canceling and didn’t take my concerns seriously.
